I like my Blue Moon. Fairly simple. However, I’m up for something different from time to time.
You might try an Avery White Rascal. I think it's in the same ball park as Blue Moon, but I think it's just a little bit better.

Hey... I'm the one who should be making threads like this, lol.

Bang, energy drink.

As far as alcohol.. I've been drinking a lot of seltzer. Mainly due to the low calories and less prone to hangovers. As someone who cannot smell.. pretty much everything tastes the same so it doesn't matter much to me.

Well, you can't miss what you've never had. But, I'm sorry you're missing out on, what for me, is one of life's pleasures.

So last night at the speakeasy, I had:
Ardbeg-Traigh-Bhan-19-Year__71902.jpg

My FIL had:
Glenlivet-Single-Cask-16-Year-Sherry-Butt-Cask-Strength__25337.jpg

Both very good; I liked mine better.

Great experience. The staff plays up the specialness of the situation/venue and treats you quite well. One cannot make reservations unless one is famous. Turns out we almost met/saw a Dallas Cowboy, but they cancelled.

My parents were Scotch drinkers. But just in the form of a Scotch and soda before dinner. And made with plain, everyday Dewar's or Usher's. I never developed a taste for Scotch. But I've never tried a higher end product.

I do enjoy a Manhattan before dinner. Preferably made with rye. Bulleit 95 and Rittenhouse 100 Bottled in Bond are my go-to choices. A nice bourbon will also do. Regular Maker's Mark makes a fine drink. I also like a Martini. Made the James Bond way, shaken, not stirred. Hendrick's is a very good gin, but I'm not sure it's that much better than Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire. Which, in my opinion, rank up there with Shakespeare, Newton's Laws of Motion, The Theory of Evolution, penicillin, and The Beatles as among Britain's greatest gifts to civilization.

A drink both my in-laws had last night was quite good, a smoked old-fashioned. I had thought it was just a gimmick but this place actually made it such that not only could you smell the smoke but taste it in the drink:

Interesting. The closest I’ve ever come to a smoked drink was when I spilled a rum and Coke on a gas burner turned up to high. There was definitely smoke. And flame. ^_^
