I think it was Elisha. He was the bald one. A number of children once made fun of him and called him "baldy". They got a rude shock when some lions came out of the woods and have a few of them for dinner! When I started to lose my hair through alopecia, some of my students sniggered at me in class, so I turned to them and said, "Hair today, gone tomorrow! I can only give you the bald facts now." We all had a laugh together, and no one made fun of me after that, because they knew that I saw the funny side of it myself. When I sign a birthday card for another staff member at work, I draw a funny picture of myself and sign "From the Bald Eagle." That gets a laugh every time. Losing one's hair through alopecia can be very traumatic, especially for a woman, but learning to rejoice in God and retain peace and joy in it is the way of coming to terms with it.In league with Elijah!
