CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We're meant to get rain on Christmas day (maybe even a late storm) Anyone else supposed to get rain on Christmas day.
If you ask me I think that's a great Christmas present - so long as it's not on the way home from my parents house. Driving an hour in the rain wouldn't be much fun.

its supposed to rain wednesday & thursday...then get cold again over christmas. oy. today was 34F(1C)...first time its been that warm in like 3 days...its been down in teens & neg temps lately. brrrr. felt kinda summery today. crazy me went outside barefoot & short sleeves to see how warm it was...i didn't feel cold either when i was out there. saw some ppl driving around with their car windows rolled down.

Brrrrr, 1C, you call that warm. Crikey! Here in sunny Brisbane we usually have a week in end January/beginning February of 38-42C!!! I know it gets hotter elsewhere, but that's plenty hot enough for me! We usually sit between 32 - 35C (in the western suburbs at least).

I just heard we were 40c today! Don't know if that's right or not but I was as flat out as a lizard drinking moving the hoses.
Felt as tho I was a grease spot at times too.

this summer was humid...thought i'd melt most of the time. it rained like every other day...so it wasn't that nice of a summer.

Yesterday, it got to 40c here. That made the house get pretty hot! Especially the kitchen. Praise God for airconditioning!
