Today I am thankful that it seems as though my cold/flu is going away?

I'm thankful that my computer wasn't fried in last night's severe storm that blew out all the power in our neighborhood. It took three times this morning to get it to re-boot and I thought it had been fried because of the huge power surge before all the power went out? I was watching the Ten Commandments when it happened.

I'm thankful that I'm not in that much pain today, back-wise or other.

I'm thankful that Jesus promises to always love me and be with me, especially when I am having some difficulty today with burn-out.

I'm thankful again for my new internet friends on this fine forum.

TODAY I am thankful for AAA. Last night at 11:40 as I left my second job, my battery was dead! Triple A came and jumped me and again this morning because it was dead this morning.

I am thankful that the battery I bought 3 years ago had a 36 month FREE replacement (it's a 230.00 battery!) so it only cost me 15.00 for the switcharoo

I am thankful that I don't have to work the rest of the week at my second job!

I am thankful that I can rest tonight.

I am thankful for interesting conversation here on this forum lately.

Thankful for my truck starting this morning

Thankful that my friend that helped me get my a/c unit upgraded my labor portion of my warranty to be 5 years labor instead of one! And she informed me that I have a 2 year maintenance agreement also, (I thought it was only 1 year)

Thankful for the people posting here that haven't posted here before or in a long time.

Thankful that I don't have anything planned this evening except getting a few groceries and possibly cooking dinner

Thankful to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior!

3 years ago I paid 189. Today it cost 230.00 BUT it was under warranty so I only paid 15.00 for them to install it.

WOW! That is insane! I just bought the top of the line battery for my PT Cruiser about 6 months ago and it only cost me $89 with installation, and that is with a five year warranty! I don't think I ever paid that much for a battery in my big rig when I was driving on the road? I can't imagine how a car battery could cost that much?

Today I am thankful for.....having the night off

My paycheck at my second job was more than I expected

One day closer to the weekend

That my younger son is now getting a ride by his friend to school instead of me.

I will have a get together next week with my friend that has cancer

I'm thankful for my new friends here at this forum who help keep my thinking straight and for those who care enough to check on me from time to time to make sure all is well.

I'm thankful for my bible course that's really helping me in my walk with Jesus Christ, my very own personal Savior.

I'm thankful for my little buddy Drago who keeps me smiling and who lets me know he loves me no matter what kind of day I'm having. He has put countless smiles on my face when I really needed it.

I'm thankful for each & ever day the Lord gives me, so that I may do better in my walk with Him.

You know? That's a marvelous idea you have there! He IS totally trusting in me each day and he does know I will see to his every need so, why would it be any different if I looked at this the way you have suggested??? See, this is why I'm so thankful for my new friends here at this forum!

I think many times I make things harder on myself than they need to be? LOL

^ great wisdom on our ability to trust God. So it's deeper than "thanks for the food," it's "I'm so glad God is trustworthy with my needs!"

I'm thankful that right is right, even if others react poorly to it. (Yeah there's a story there but it's over and done with.)

I'm thankful for the resolution to this problem that the LORD is going to provide. I don't know what the resolution is yet, but I believe He is capable and desires to bring about a solution, so my job is to petition Him for it and look for His guidance as He works to bring it about.

Today I am thankful to find out for sure that my son is going to college. He admits that he doesn't want to go, and I reiterated how important it is that he does go.

I am thankful that he also will not be moving out.....yet. He has decided he needs a newer car (which he does) but he needs it now he says, because he's a delivery driver so....he is willing to live at home and have a car payment.

I am thankful that my son comes to me for advice when he really needs it. Most of the time he wants to make his own decisions, so if he thinks I won't agree he won't come to me, but I love it when he does.

I am thankful that even my younger son was being helpful and "good" yesterday. Did his homework without being badgered and helped with the trash. It's unusual that both boys are "good" at the same time.

I am thankful for the internet, even with it's problems. It helps us to connect in ways we would never be able to, and even though I know none of you here IRL, I "feel" like you are my friends anyway.

Thankful that the Lord is protecting me--and that even though this is a scary and stressful time for me, this is an opportunity for me to trust Him. To trust that He is big enough to handle this...and that He loves me and is committed to taking care of me.

Thankful for a GREAT church service today!

Thankful for the kiddos, and that I get to help with them...what a blessing!!!

Thankful for my family...and that my dad and sis are close by.

Thankful that I don't have to get up early in the morning...no alarm clock buzzing!!!

Sooo thankful for praying friends!!!
