They think they won't, because they'll think like you do: "He can't be the AC, because if these were the end times, I'd have been raptured already... so he must be legit!"
I take it you're mid-trib? or post-trib?

Av... surely by now you know I'm no-trib...

But you're pre-trib... which means you're not even going to be looking for the AC until after a whole lot of people vanish, leaving nothing but a pile of clothes. An obvious enough sign, to be sure... but what if you're wrong?

I won't ask if you'd bet your life on it, because as a believer in martyrs, you don't care about that, so...

... would you bet your soul on it?

So?

Just because you're an agnostic, doesn't mean you can't answer questions, does it?

Can't you employ hypothesis resolution?

What did Humpty Dumpty sit on? a chair or a wall?

That's cute.

Against the rules ... but cute.

I think you mean "hypothetical."

Of course I can address a hypothetical situation... who'd win in a fight: Captain America or Batman?

Now that's a hypothetical.

but you're asking about a belief system i simply do not have. Which makes as much sense as me asking you who you'll be rooting for at Ragnarok.

What did Humpty Dumpty sit on? a chair or a wall? That's cute.

According to the nursery rhyme, a wall.

Are you asking me to treat the Book of Revelations no differently from nursery rhymes?

(note my showing of respect by resisting the urge to say "other nursery rhymes..." :) )

Against the rules ... but cute.

What rules are you referring to? You are pre-trib, are you not?

A rumour that doesn't appear to have any justification.

I don't typically find Answers in Genesis a reliable source of information, but they would have zero motivation not to spread this story, were it true.

However, they label it a legend and doubt it's veracity: Darwin's Deathbed Conversion - a Legend?

I so agree! Do the same with exodus, tower of babel,
flood etc.

But for now one fact that supports creationism
would rock the world- and really get this equal time thing
a start.

Ya -- the academic world.

If you can show that creationism as espoused by the Bible and the Christian God is real, you would rock the entire world. Not just academia, but the whole world.

Unless you're a penguin. They do their own thing.

It's not. You need go no further than the 4th paragraph to find fundamental errors:

"...allow us to teach the students the truth about the implications of the Laws of Science, such as the First and Second Law of Thermodynamics, and how these Laws disprove evolution"

From there on it gets worse...

Don't underestimate us. I know some people who would yawn at said evidence.

And although I would be surprised that there is evidence of creationism, it would "rock me" in a different way than it would rock the academic world.
