  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is there something you would like to overcome but always find yourself caving in?

Yep. There are times when I like to go out and get stuff done that I need to get done. And then......there are times when I'm a big procrastinator. :doh:Like my laundry. I'll leave my work clothes for like two weeks until I have nothing left to wear to work and then I'll wash the clothes the night before and hope and pray that something will be dry by the next day so I can wear it. rofl. Stuff like that. I'll think to myself "I need to do this." (whatever it is) and then I'll go and find something more interesting to do. lol. I'm not like that all the time, but I can definitely get like that. :p

Childhood memories:

What were your favorite toy(s) growing up?

What were your favorite cartoon(s)?

What was you favorite book(s)?

What was your favorite subject(s) in school?

My favorite toy was a stuffed animal. He's a brown "weiner dog" named Snoopy, with a literal button nose (his nose fell off when I was young and we had to sew a big black button on for his nose). I got him when I was very small, maybe 2 or 3 years old and I've had him ever since!

Favorite cartoon.......I don't think I really had a favorite. I just liked watching them all. lol. Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, whatever. If I didn't like a cartoon, I'd just switch over to the other network and see what was on. lol.

I loved books as a child (and I still do!). My favorites would probably have to be The BFG (Big Friendly Giant), many of the Berenstain Bears books, Jenna and the Troublemaker, and my picture Bible. lol. As I got older I got into the Jenny McGrady mysteries. I still have them! haha.

My favorite subject in school was history. I loved learning about the past and people's lives and wars and battles and how things were done and different country's customs and stuff. I still love history. It's just in a different form now that I'm out of school. lol. I read historical fiction novels a lot. That way I can still travel to the past whenever I like! hehe. ;)

What was your favorite song while you were in high school?

Wow. I'm not sure of that one. Hmmmm. *searches memory* I'd have to say that one song "I believe I can fly". Now before everyone takes me down like 300 notches on the coolness scale, you gotta hear my reason. It's because my friends and my brother and I made up our own version to that song and it was totally messed up. hahaha. We had so much fun making up random lyrics to that tune, we'd be busting up laughing. So yeah, favorite song in high school because it was so much fun to make fun of!

Do you trust a lot of people?
Not at first. I've been hurt a few times when I've trusted too fast and I like to take my time to get to know someone first now.

Are you forgiving?
I try to be!

What's going on tomorrow?
I'm going to work. Ugh. lol. Then I'm going to come home and relax and post some on the forums here. Then I'll eat and then get online with my Counter-Strike clan for awhile. Then I'll probably write some more of my book before going to bed. Hopefully. Plans can change though, for good or bad. haha.

Are you in a good mood?
Yep! No particular reason other than maybe I'm gonna go watch American Idol now. lol.

What was the last thing you laughed at?
At a friend's funny antics while dancing to no particular tune.

Do you tend to get lost driving?
Omigosh yes! But I prefer to be called "Directionally challenged." hehehe

Do you have a mental illness of choice (if you had to have one)?
I'd rather not have one. rofl. But if I had to have one......I'd say.....I would rather be paranoid. I heard a quote once but I'm not sure who it was by. It went something like, "I envy paranoids. They always feel like someone is paying attention to them." or something like that. Kinda funny.

What is the last thing you said aloud?
I told my mom where the printer icon is in her e-mail. LOL. She's just switched over to yahoo mail and she's still trying to figure it out. :p

Outside your family, who is the one person you would be stranded on an island with? hmmm probably
My friend Reggie. He lives in Missouri. He's hilarious and always keeps me in stitches. He's not a Christian and I've been praying for him, so stranded on an island with me might have it's advantages in the witnessing department. lol.

What pictures do you have around you right now?
Some of my friends and family and of course.....my pets!!

What is a good random quote you know?
It's the character that's the strongest that God gives the most challenges to. -from the movie Return To Me.

What is something you fear that's completely random?
Craneflies.

And you're afraid of that because?
They are often confused with mosquitos, but craneflies are much bigger and really freaky. They're red and have long string-like legs. They can't hurt me and I know that, so it's really a stupid fear. I don't know why they affect me so. I just see one floating toward me and immediately my breath catches in my throat as my pulse starts to quicken. I then run for the nearest door. LOL!

Are you mad at someone right now?
Not that I can think of. lol. I'm pretty easygoing.

Do you wear contacts?
Nope! Don't wear glasses either.

Do you like thunderstorms?
Yes! Unfortunately we didn't get one here this year. I was so disappointed.

Do you believe in the 5 second rule?
It depends on what kind of ground I've dropped my food on. LOL. I mean if it's in my living room, sure I'll pick it up and eat it still. But if it's like outside near a dumpster, probably not!

What is the most stupid thing you have done?
Well, I'm not quite sure what you mean by stupid. Whether you mean a mistake or just something completely random. So I'm gonna go with random. haha. I took my brother and his two friends for a ride down to Baskin Robbins to get some mocha blasts. While in the car, we rolled down the windows, and turned the radio to the local Talk Station. Then with the sound on full blast, we started "head banging" to this guy talking about politics! We were laughing so hard we had tears running down our faces when we were done. We must have looked so dumb!! ^_^

What are your current feelings about your first true love?
I haven't had a first true love. When I get one....I'll let ya know!

What is your weapon of choice?
As in guns? An mp5 for close range action and for medium to long range probably a Colt M4a1 with a silencer as an extra goodie just in case I need to go stealth. hehe.

Would you rather improve something or appreciate it the way it is?
Depends on what it is. But I suppose I would try to appreciate the good qualities of something first and then try to improve if I needed to. hehe. Good questions!

Ack! I've been neglecting this thread! Oh well, I'm back! hehe.

Hey and it's my 500th post here on CF! :D

Which male celebrity do you consider most physically (assume they are all brainless and emotionless, that is) appealing?

Hmmm. If I'm going on looks alone I'd probably say it's a toss-up between Viggo Mortensen in Lord of The Rings and Joaquin Phoenix. haha. Yeah, I know they're "older" guys. But the younger guys lately just aren't that appealing to me. lol. I like the "ruggedly handsome" look. :p

Any plans for you this week?

This week? Not really. Getting ready for the 7th Harry Potter book! ^_^ I can't wait! But other than that, nothing. At work, my company is opening up another club like 5 mins from my house, so I'm preparing to be part of the opening. It's gonna be really hectic!

Hey

I totally miss playing CS with you guys. My current connection doesn't cut it for gaming :/

How has your summer gone so far? Have any exciting plans for the summer?

Yeah, I've been wondering where you went! lol. I miss seeing ya there! Well, you must go get a better connection then. You can't be properly addicted to CS:S if you don't have a good enough connection to play. hehehe. ;)

Well, my summer has been pretty busy. Got a new job with In-Shape Health Clubs (it's a pretty big chain out here) and like I mentioned above, they're opening a 65,000 sq. ft. club about 5 minutes from my house. I'm working the front desk (which is actually a lot more complicated than it sounds) and I've been in training for the past 3 weeks. So yeah, it's been busy. hehe.

Sadly I don't have any exciting plans for the summer. :( I'm way too busy with work. Ah well, summer is about relaxing anyways, right? So......I'll have some BBQ's and go swimming and go rollerblading and basically just chill. hehe.

Who do you think took the 4th horcrux?

Honestly? I have no idea. But I don't think it's going to be a current character. It's probably going to be someone we haven't heard of yet. Or someone who was mentioned in passing in one of the other six books. I'm thinking it was probably one of Voldemort's original followers who believed in Voldemort's vision but once things started getting out of hand, decided that Voldemort was going about it the wrong way. He had to have been someone very important in Voldemort's circle (or else very smart) to have found out about the horcruxes. I'm leaning towards smart. Voldemort fails to kill Harry but doesn't die, this guy figures out that Voldemort has at least one horcrux (since he doesn't mention any others in the letter) and sets off to destroy it. Why he would then die, I'm not sure. It's all very mysterious and I can't wait until July 21st to find out what's going on!

Have you gone on vacation and if so where?

Last vacation I went on was to Disneyland! The original one in L.A. I love Disneyland. Some people think it's a "kiddie" place. But no matter how old you are it's awesome. I love the rides. Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted House, Indiana Jones, The Matterhorn, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Star Tours. Those are awesome! Plus we have the California Adventure. It's a whole second park across from the original Disneyland. It's not my favorite park, but their roller coaster is the best thing about it! Anyways, yep, Disneyland. hehe
