Let me ask you a serious question. When a person first receives Christ, are they born again of the Spirit? If not, what evidence is there they've received Christ?
I am serious ... you are causing confusion in an important spiritual Truth!

When people first receive Christ, they are born again of the Spirit when He comes INSIDE.

This has NOTHING to do with "the baptism with the Holy Spirit" ...
Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 11:15-17.

Scriptural terminology is important ... please, stop causing confusion!

1 John 3:9
9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
It seems that we will carry the "new man" and the "old man" (natures) around with us as long as we are living in this current world - provided that we have been born again.

I don't know anyone who truly understands the nuts and bolts of it - even if they claim to.

The new man cannot sin. The old man can do little else but sin.

That's how I interpret the meaning of the verse.

Put on the new man and put off the old man daily and we will not display the lust of the flesh.

From the viewpoint of God - the new man was resurrected with Christ and is seated even now with Him in glory. The old man was crucified with Christ and suffered the eternal wrath of God in Him.

As with the existence of the two natures themselves - I don't know anyone who truly understands the nuts and bolt of these things - even if they claim to.

I do know that (contrary to the dogma of the likes of BCSenior) the new man will live forever. If we have been truly born again-we have passed from death to life and will never come into condemnation again.

Whatever we have done in the Spirit will be preserved at the Judgment Seat of Christ and whatever we have done in the flesh will be burned up like so much wood hay and stubble.

I don't know anyone who truly understands the nuts and bolt of these things - even if they claim to.

That's the rough nuts and bolts of it as I understand things. Any way that my explanation might be somewhat inaccurate - really won't matter in the slightest after the Lord judges me and wipes away every tear.

Do you believe we will be saved if we don’t love God or if we don’t love others?
“Little children, let no one deceive you.
He who practices righteousness is righteous,
just as He is righteous … In this the children of God
and the children of the devil are manifest:
Whoever does NOT practice righteousness is NOT of God,
NOR is he who does NOT love his brothers and sisters.”
(1 John 3:7-10)

Are the children of the devil saved?

A British lady doctor told me in no uncertain terms ...
babies receive the DNA of both parents!
Scripture teaches that the stain of sin passes through to the next generation via the seed of man. Mary, who was not sinless, is irrelevant insofar as mothers don't pass original sin to their children.

Sorry, you have to wait a few more years!
God's true remnant will be going into places of refuge
while God pours out His wrath upon all unbelievers
(including non-faithful BACs who insist on
practicing lawlessness instead of practicing righteousness)!
When God's wrath is finished, then Jesus' true Bride will be raptured.
They are called the remnant.

I am not getting into an Eschatology debate with you. However, I believe the Lord will come at any day or any hour. He will come in a time we will not expect. For that is what the Scriptures say. If we think He is coming later at a time of our choosing, then we will begin to beat our fellow servants (i.e. treat them with a lack of love and respect).

Besides, when you say "a few more years" does that mean 5, 7, or 10 years? If the Lord does not return in a few years, and it is much longer than you say like say 20-50 years, what will you say then? You do understand that the OT warnings on those who make false predictions, right? Granted, we are not under the OT, but the point here is that you shouldn't be into date setting anything, my friend.

But those who repent get an imputed sinlessness.
Doesn't mean sin nature is gone,

When we are born again, (filled with the Spirit of Christ) that means our SIN NATURE has been replaced with a DIVINE NATURE. Somewhere down the line of your life you have been taught that if we commit a sin, it is imputed as sinless.

2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

It is the wicked that are the ones who "do not expect." They are clueless. But Noah did expect and was saved through the ark he had been building with his sons for the past 100 years. And just as @BCsenior said, those who are ready will be sheltered from the wrath, just as Noah and his family were. And so were the children of Israel during the plagues.

Brother, how do we know He is inside? What is the evidence?

I don't mean to cut in, but I would say that this would be the "fruits of the Spirit" mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.

I believe the blood on the doorposts is symbolic of our receiving God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ (when we first come to the Lord for salvation).

The Israelites crossing the red sea is symbolic of Spirit baptism.

Their being faithful to seek out the promised land and remain faithful on the journey is symbolic of Sanctification (or the process by which God strives to make the believer live holy).

Unfortunately, most of them failed this last test. Most of them were destroyed in the wilderness because they complained, etc. They did not think holiness was essential unto the Lord (as a part of God's mercy), and so they perished and did not enter God's promised land.

Jesus does not compare the end times with the Exodus. He compares it to the days of Noah, where man was removed and lifted up and out of the devastation.. He also compares it to Lot who was taken by angels away from the place of destruction. Far enough that he and his family were not in danger of any of the destruction.

Indeed, they should say that "not sinning" is their intention.

Isaiah 43
25 “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake,
and I will not remember your sins.
Some men bring their "intentions" to fruition.
Some men's "turn from" sin is genuine.
Some men do love God above all else and their neighbors as themselves.

Unless you are walking alongside God you are wading up to your nose in sin.
We are born into it.

Those who have the Spirit of God in them will know at the time.

Our life here is our training ground for an eternal relationship with God. You won't be able to hide your thought there anymore than you can hide them here. You'll just be more aware of His eye on your mind there. Just kidding. :p There your mind will totally be the mind of Christ. Revelation 22:11 :)

Thank God we aren't "reborn" into it!
Those reborn of God's seed are walking alongside God, "hid with Christ in God". (Col 3:3)
Grape vines cannot bear the fruit of any other seed, nor can we bear the fruit of any other "sire".

Physically sinners, Spiritually forgiven.
The body does not change.....death remains our wages.
Perhaps you are unaware of 1 Tim 5:24..."Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; (death), and some men they follow after."
Our death is suffered at our "immersion" into Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection, as per Romans 6:3-6.
Our being "raised with Christ to walk in newness of life", (Rom 6:4} is our rebirth...only possible after our death

If you were walking hand in hand with God and glanced away
with a stray thought....you have sinned and deserve death.
People tend to think of sin as a mistake they made, last month.
Thank God for Gal 5:24..."And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."
No lusts-no sin. (James 1:14-15)

1 Thessalonians 5
17 Pray without ceasing,
Ephesians 6
18 Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
Romans 12
12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Thank you for the exhortations!
