I am not a far right extremist as I lean left.
I worked full time for over 40 years, have a professional degree and am very literate, love God and family and country and have common sense.

I think this is false victimhood.

A majority of educated white men vote Democratic. A majority means more than 50%.
"Educated" often means having a basically useless degree. And what's amusing is how that's been flipped around where Walz being billed as a good ol boy farmer who sculps butter is a good thing, and Vance having a yale degree is a bad thing.

Far Right doesn't mean a whole lot these days since the label is applied so broadly to anyone outside of the liberal consensus.
Centrists and even old fashioned Liberals are now branded Right Wing.

If you look at voting demographics, educated white men support Democrats; the uneducated support Trump.

In other words, your meme is inaccurate, but good try.
Educated is a subjective term. There are penty of people who work in the trades that make much more than some people with a four year degree.

I believe it was Walz who said Vance had an Army desk job, went to school on the GI Bill, went to Silicon Valley to make millions in venture capitalism and hedge funds--which often make money buying companies, laying everyone off, and selling them in pieces.
Then he wrote a book badmouthing the people he grew up with.
Behind every closed factory in Ohio are "investment bankers" like Vance bleeding companies dry and leaving workers high and dry for a better stock price.
I think they're lower than used car salesmen, traditionally the most untrustworthy.

@Fantine according to so-called voting demographics, I should be voting for the Democrats. I am a baby boomer, and I have a B.S. in Business Administration with a Management major. However, I never have and I never ever shall vote for the progressive leftist politicians .... aka, the majority of Democratic Party politicians.
I am a disabled female in my early 30s who attended ( though did not finish college) and I have voted for dem maybe three times ( and one of those times did not really count as it was actually a republican running for county sheriff who ran as a democrat because there were two other republicans running ( and we still had a runoff).

Even if Vance had a "desk job" in the army ( not saying he did or did not he still served and IF he did so honrably he earned the GI bill. In as far as the book goes a person can in fact grow up in poverty and work their way out of it. It is not as if that is impossbile just because someone grew up in a poor abusive household does not mean they are not able to make something of themselves.

There are plenty of people with a four year degree who work in trades because the type of degree they have won't get them a job based on that degree. A lot of people have a bachelor's in a field that requires a doctorate to have a career in that field. So all they really have is a fancy sheet of paper to hang on a wall, that's more likely sitting in a cardboard box.

that was my point "educated"is not always the same thing as attended college and earned a degree ( particularly a degree really worth anything.

My brother has an anthropology degree, and works as an auto mechanic.

That was on the list of the 10 most useless degrees I read. I'm not trying to trash education. But just slugging it out and obtaining a degree in something doesn't make one educated as in having a vast treasure trove of knowledge in their head. And it doesn't equate to having superior intelligence either. A lot of times obtaining a degree is simply a matter of perseverance.

I wouldn't say it's useless, but making a living from an anthropology degree can require alot of commitment and sacrifices. Also, he's always been more politically and socially conservative than me. Part of being an anthropologist involves picking apart "just so" stories that tend to be part of a conventional orientation to the world (I minored in anthropology myself).

He's also an agnostic, FWIW, and not interested in religion, marriage, or raising a family. It just goes to show, in the real world, people can be more complicated. The blue collar guy may not be a "God, country, family" kind of person.

We should all be lifelong learners. I just have a Bachelors plus 30 credits (taken in Music, one of those 'useless' subjects that has actually brought me part-time incomes through teaching piano, being a church musician, and, here and there, being a band member.)
I have always loved to learn, and I always loved going to conferences, both for work and just for fun. To me the perfect vacation would be a learning experience in a great locale.

The journalist in me (which was always just a sideline while I worked in communications) loves critical thinking. When I listen I take mental notes about what I'd like to research. If I hear of a great book I go to the digital library and put it on hold.

I do think my critical thinking makes me anti-authoritarian. A critical thinker never asks "Why" and is satisfied with the answer "Because!"

Vance was in the Marines, not the Army.

Men with degrees are actually less likely to vote for Trump.
Plenty of men with degrees are voting for Trump.

Ben Shapiro, who has a law degree is one of them.

Of course there are always going to be minorities that vote differently, but the majority of men that were college graduates voted for Biden. Ben Shapiro is somewhat atypical because he's a pundit and a partisan hack, but most people tend to vote according to factors that aren't particularly ideological, such as class or race/ethnicity. More recently, educational attainment has also become another factor (it used to be that people with more education voted Republican, but that was decades ago before the Tea Party started actively courting the so-called "low information voter").
