Guess the GOP can't even stack the deck and get it done.Just like Hillary and Hunter....both obviously caught red handed...but both "get away with it"?
Trump has indicated they are "losers" so why let them vote?So you do not believe that the disabled or the military overseas or the sick in the hospitals have any right to vote?
That's interesting. Do you have any stats? I've moved every few years throughout my life and so have re-registered frequently, but never at a DMV. When I have gotten a new driver's license I never had to prove I was a citizen--now, with "Real ID" it's different, but I don't even have one of those yet. No, there are enough holes in that system to drive a truck through, and it's interesting that the Right doesn't really care.Since most people register at the same time they get their drivers license as well as reapply at the same time my assumption is, that making certain the person registering is also the name holder at time of registration, is a moot point as it's already being done.
Especially if it's an ID that some people don't necessarily have and might have a hard time getting.HOWEVER I do agree, polling place impersonation is a rare event, which is why it's better to show up at the polls with ID in hand..
3. She was cheating for a Republican. Priceless. It’s really bad when your side can’t even catch a break from O’Keefe. Oh, wait! He’s in on the fraud conspiracy to take down Trump! That’s it! Brilliant! Why didn’t they think of that before?
Just need seven million more.....That doesn't change the points I was making.
That sucks...
What I have read in other states is that people who wanted to register but did not have drivers licenses might not be able register because there was no good online way to do it. I have friends from major cities like NYC who dont bother with drivers licenses since they can get anywhere they need with public transportation. My wifes grandparents (now deceased) didnt have drivers licenses once they both turned 90. So there's a minority that wouldnt have easy access to voter registration. After surviving the 2008 recession on public transportation and welfare for 3 years myself, its not a fun way to do things when you are used to 2 cars and a house to going to section 8 housing and one shared vehicle with 3 kids. Thankfully and with God's blessing, we built a custom townhouse two years ago and doing very well againThose three years on welfare really changed my perspective on things and how I ended up going from strong conservative to a fairly centrist liberal.
Yes, if they aren't in prison, on probation or parole, and aren't a violent felon...
We can absolutely agree on this point. And I'd love to make sure everyone gets to who wants to, legally.
At the same time, I want to make sure the family cat isn't voting, or other potential fraud occurring. To be certain of this, I am a firm proponent of registered voters showing up at the polls ID in hand. (With small exception for the military, people stationed overseas ambassadors and their families etc.)
I'm in favor of issuing a national id card at birth....it would resolve a lot issues imho. At 18, citizens would automatically be eligible to vote....but I suppose that would be too simple. Better to stick with an antiquated 50 state id process....
I keep getting told there's no free lunch.Wait...I keep getting told there was no fraud
Baloney. All you need for banking is an ATM card and a computer.I had to spend a few years in the ghetto in Kansas City myself when I became disabled and lost my land etc over the financial collapse that became my life...
The major thing I found in doing that, was such easy access to various social services that don't exist in rural communities... I was amazed it was so helpful.
As to your freinds in New York, how do they manage normal things in life like their banking and check cashing etc. without a state issued ID in some form? I've not been able to manage life without one in the Midwest for decades. Once I went into the bank to withdraw some money out of my account and found my drivers license had expired the day before... and even though she knew me (small town bank everyone knows everyone) as I'd been banking there more than a decade, she wouldn't give me a dime of my own money until I showed state ID that wasn't expired. Well, I was out of cash so I had to drive to a freinds house borrow 20 dollars, go to the DMV, get a new license, run back to bank withdraw my own money, run back to the freinds house to repay them...
I was angry... lol.. but I never let my ID expire again... I just can't imagine how anyone can do anything in life without it. If you need any kind of social services you have to have ID, if you need to do any banking you have to have ID... etc etc etc

Forced? Is the only reason you're here because evil liberals forced you to have a computer? It was a long time ago, no computer yet (that was before schools forced you to have one for the kids to do their homework - that didnt occur until 2000 or 2001 in the rural Midwest) and I never bothered with credit cards or atm cards back then... At that time I was just a nurse, and only used a savings account because the bank was so handy.
We know why they're rioting. It's because they believe trump's lies. And you think that people are rioting for no reason whatsoever then?
This is ... untrue.Trump couldn't get a judge to hear the evidence or conduct a hearing. Every case was thrown out before it could be heard.
Forced? Is the only reason you're here because evil liberals forced you to have a computer?
Dem: great idea! Can we agree that every American citizen should be able to vote?
Call your Congress Rep and have at it.
Dem: great idea!
GOP: yeah, great.
Silence...............
GOP: anyone think we should re assess the citizenship test? I’ve got a few ideas.
GOP: anyone think we should re assess the personship test? I’ve got a few ideas.I am pretty sure the Democratic Party would rather strike "citizen" and just say "person"
