I hate it when I'm nice and cozy, warm, all snuggled up in my bed, no urge to pee, laptop on my lap, phone by my side, ipod near me... when all of a sudden I realize... I can see across the room more clearly, and then BAM! I realize I still have my contacts in.![]()
So then I have to get out of my nice warm bed, out of my room into the dark cold hallway, and into the frigid bathroom just to remove my contacts. Then I go back into my room, sit on my bed reach for my glasses on my shelf and realize... I left my glasses in the bathroom.THEN, after I think I've got everything done. I snuggle back in my bed and five minutes later... I HAVE TO PEEEEE! It's a vicious cycle that has happened more than once. lol
Hahahaha, your life sounds tough![]()

Yep, mine are also soft lenses and my eye doctor said I could sleep in them. So one fine day I did. WORST THING EVER! I woke up with my eye in pain. It took me 15 minutes just to take them off. I was in panic I almost cried (and I rarely do!) I felt like someone had taken a vacuum and sucked all the juices from my eye.I sleep in my contacts sometimes. Lots of people do. If they're soft lenses, your eyes will be fine.![]()
Do it then tell me how it goes.I think I am gonna have my eyeballs laser beamed.![]()
You're a brave soul if ya get it done. I freaked out when my eye doctor stuck his fingers in my eyes to remove and put on my contacts. I was like, "Dude, I can do it myself!" :'DWell my mother had it done and she said it wasn't bad and this was in the dark ages of laser eye stuff

I ended up having to wear my glasses for a few days until my eyes got better.
Ha, I use the same brand.I actually sleep in my contacts lenses all the time (usually 2-3 days in; then one day of rest (aka glasses)). When I wake up after sleeping in my contacts, I put in my rewetting eye drops because sleeping dries out your eyes. In fact, it's really bad to take out contacts right after waking up! For me, I never feel pain or anything with my contacts, even upon waking.
What brand do you use for contacts? I use AirOptix.
Ha, I use the same brand.
I also put the re-wetting drops when it happened. I think my eyes are just sensitive.
It is quite interesting. Especially since I don't have dry eye problems either. I do have astigmatism though, so maybe that's why.Huh, that's interesting.
I'm lucky that I don't have dry eye problems or anything and I can sleep with my contacts in for a few days at a time, especially since I don't like touching my eyes (although I'm not really touching the eye itself, but the contact lenses).

Hey! I have astigmatism in one eye also. My left eye.LOL. I think we're eye twins!
I also have an astigmatism in one eye (the other is normal). My eyes are completely different prescriptions in fact.So an astigmatism is probably not it....
