So, I'm sitting at Starbucks, cause of course when I have insane about of emails to write for research, my internet goes out.
Anyways, the guy in back of me is making noises. A lot of noises, I can't think.
So the only way I can stop it is by texting my friend to get it out of my head, and her text back, "you should make some back!"

^_^^_^

Oh. I think I'm in the wrong thread. :D

No, I was joking. I was referring to looking in the mirror and forgetting about it later. Here's what I was talking about:
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. [1:23-24; ESV]
Haha ohhh right :p Yeah I didn't know about that.

I know how you feel, being a teenager with acne isn't the best life experience in the world. Neither my mum or dad ever had it but all their children got it pretty bad.. except for one of my brothers stranglely enough. I'm almost 20 and the acne is still as persistant as ever lol. Last year when I went to uni I started taking roaccutane which was the best thing I could have done, it completely cleared everything up. Some pitted scars still remained, but all the redness cleared up which was awesome. Unfortunately it was pretty full on medicine and dangerous to your health so I could only use it for one cycle, and now they're starting to come back again..

It doesn't affect my self esteem a whole lot, I kind of forget about it and walk around thinking I'm beautiful until I look in a mirror then I'm like HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT?!?! lol then after 5 minutes I tend to forget about it again and live in denial until the next time I'm near a mirror :p If it raises your self-esteem, I may as well tell you I really liked your mini mouse photo  Haha

Is that the same as accutane? It probably is... just a shorter name. Yeah, I was told I should take that because it's supposed to get rid of your ance forever. But I don't really like taking medications. And I know a few people who took it and found that it left their skin so sensitive, red and icky. So I don't know. My mom still wants me to use it no matter the health risks.

Haha somtimes I forget about how bad I think I look, too. :D
 Aww, thank you very much! I actually didn't even like that pciture of me, haha.

I'm so horribly scarred from the acne I had until I was about 20, that I grew a beard to cover it up. But it's all over me, not just on my face.

This is why beards are so awesome!:p

That's what I said... but then everyone tells me, "EVERYTHING has side effect." And I'm like, "Yeah, that's why I don't like taking medications or pills of any sort [except for vitamins)!"

Plus, the doctor wants me to take some sort of class to make sure I don't get pregnant while on accutane
Then again, I thought my doctor was crazy... that's why I don't go with him anymore. :D

I think it's the same.. They told me it should still have an affect after I'm off the meds too, but it really didn't.

It does make your face become really dry, but hey, that's it job :p You're meant to plaster oil free moisturiser all over yourself with it, so if you do that your face shouldn't get all sensitive and flakey.. As far as side affects go, I didn't have any. They said depression was a possibility. Pretty sure they have to say that just in case something happens they won't get in trouble. But I doubt anyone's going to go "ohhh, my face is so clear for the first time in yearrs, I'm soo depressed!!" lol If anything I felt much better while taking it.:D I'd still be on it if my skin specialist would write me more scripts!! I practically got on my hands and knees and begged her

I was told not to give it to pregnant females either.. I guess that goes for pregnant males too but that might not be as common. It's just not the best for growing babies, but the majority of prescription medicine is pretty much like that anyway.

You annoy me.
I shan't write down a long list of why you annoy me because no doubt it's purely because you outwardly express elements of myself I work hard to keep hidden, smothered in better parts, and you waltz around expressing them freely. Perhaps because i'm just an awful person. I mean I love you, because i'm just stupid enough to love pretty much everyone, I can find redeeming features in people others get all disgusted about the attempt to even try and humanise them, but I find myself not wanting to do this for you. Not because you're an awful person, no, but because I feel it will feed the parts of you that need healing in such a way it'll get worse. This in itself annoys me because I know you feel i'm a cold stone beeyatch but lovely, you lovely little honey bee, you've had people pandering to your needs for a long time and what good has it done? Nothing. It's made those parts of you worse, hungry for the compliments people shower upon you in order to boost your ego, like a drug. I can't do that, you don't need compliments made in the heat of emotion, you don't need someone to blatantly try to build you up, you need a far more bitter syrup which you don't want to take. It's understandable, given the choice between people fawning over the poor dear with issues is addictive, it's attention, it's good, but it's the wrong type of good. It's like eating cookies instead of finding something wholesome and nutritiously lovely. Nice at the time, but soon you find yourself wanting more, because cookies can only satisfy in great numbers. I know you think I hate you because i'm not my usual dipsy "oh no, you're awesome" self but it's not hate. It's annoyance. I'll work on that.

...

I'm venting. Sort of.

I don't like it when someone IMs or texts me first, saying "hey", and I'm here all happy to talk to the person, but it seems as if all they wanted to say is, "hey"!

"If you didn't feel like talking, why did you IM/text me in the first place!!??"
And you know what, it seems as if guys do this more. WHY?

I can't believe I misplaced my flash drive! Guess what's on my flash drive. That's right, my resume and references list. I think God was looking out for me today, though. This morning I decided that it would be a good idea to save a copy of my resume to my brother's computer. So, I emailed it to myself. It's not ideal, but at least I didn't lose my resume, just the references list. I always keep things in the same place so I don't lose things, too.

Yeah I know. And then there are the people who say hi, say one or two things, then just stop talking to you. It's like, "Uh...are you dead? Sorry, do I bore you?"

Look. Listen. I am not a child. I do not need to be treated like a child when you talk to me. I hear you very well. I see through you very well. I see through three of you very well. You make me dislike the one thing that brings happiness into my life, because YOU do not have a mind of your own.

We took our dogs to run at my BIL's house. He has a fenced in acre. We noticed the puppies next door. They were loaded with ticks. So, at our own expense, we bought tick shampoo and tick repellant. BIL got us permission from them to treat the dogs, so we did. 4 puppies about 6 months old. It took us quite while to wash them, pick ticks off, and treat them, but we got it done. All this time, the people never even came out of their house, nor ever said a word.
Two days later, we went back over to check on the pups. We were looking at them over the fence from BIL's house when two of the pups started fighting hard. After trying other methods to stop them, hubby jumped over the fence and broke them up. One of the dogs was bleeding, but both were ok overall.
Next day we got word that the homeowner got upset because hubby jumped the fence!!

Hahaha I do that all the time! I just wander away from my computer a lot. I'll often have conversations along the lines of:

"Hey"
"How's it going?"
"Good, you?"
"Pretty good"

only they happen over the course of several hours.

I dislike that, too! I understand that people get busy, but even when I'm busy I'll kindly say, "I have to go, sorry for the suddeness" or something along those lines... I wouldn't completely leave the person hanging unless it's was an emergancy. Oh, well...
