The sometimes strange conversations I have with my sister. For example, today I was playing Killzone 2. She sits on the couch and the following conversation proceeds:

Her: Don't you think it's weird that Radec is only a colonel?
Me:I hadn't really thought about it, why is that strange?
Her:It's just not very realistic that someone who was only a colonel would have such wide ranging authority.
Me:Let me see if I understand this: the game features you playing as a space marine fighting space fascists on a planet so harsh the space fascists have evolved into men somewhat superhuman, and the part you find unrealistic is that a colonel in the game has greater authority than a colonel would in real life?
Her: Yes
Me:

She does know her military rankings and levels of authority.

Anger is like a balloon. You just gotta let it out sloooooooow.

Oh, goodness no. Its not about anger at all. Its about something else. =/
I hardly ever get "angry!" In fact, being angry is one thing I can deal really well with and help others deal with as well.

G'fa ha ha...my voice didn't drop 'til I was 18! ^_^

Wow, I'm having a hard time imagining that. I guess it's because I'm picturing my 12-year-old brothers voice at 18.:D

I am a pretty late bloomer... I thought boys were icky until I was 13.:D
Then again, acne runs in my family... and I mean the REALLY bad acne.

Yes it does I thought it'd be long gone by now in my upper 20's but no such luck but it has improved alot.

That's encouraging... I would like it to improve even if it's just a little.^_^

I got my mom's, uncle from my mom's side, and two uncles from my dads side acne. Mines all over my cheeks and down my jawline. I've pretty much tried everything but my skin is so sensitive that it turns my face bright red and then it shrivles and my skin gets chapped and dry.:doh:It's terrible because I can tell when people are looking at my acne/dry skin.

:hug::hug:My self-esteem is pretty low, too. So I know how you feel.
I'm glad though that your acne isn't as bad anymore. Eventually the scars may go away. At least that's what my dermatologist told me.:)

I know how you feel, being a teenager with acne isn't the best life experience in the world. Neither my mum or dad ever had it but all their children got it pretty bad.. except for one of my brothers stranglely enough. I'm almost 20 and the acne is still as persistant as ever lol. Last year when I went to uni I started taking roaccutane which was the best thing I could have done, it completely cleared everything up. Some pitted scars still remained, but all the redness cleared up which was awesome. Unfortunately it was pretty full on medicine and dangerous to your health so I could only use it for one cycle, and now they're starting to come back again..

It doesn't affect my self esteem a whole lot, I kind of forget about it and walk around thinking I'm beautiful until I look in a mirror then I'm like HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT?!?! lol then after 5 minutes I tend to forget about it again and live in denial until the next time I'm near a mirror :p If it raises your self-esteem, I may as well tell you I really liked your mini mouse photo  Haha

Hmmm...didn't the apostle James say something about that...? :)
About the word holy? I don't think an apostle ever said the word holy... Thanks for the concern though :)

In scriptures the word "qodesh" is used meaning set-apart and cleansing. Then when man translated the word to holy, it completely lost its original definition. Thus the 'holy' spirit, was originally meant to be 'set-apart' spirit. However holy doesn't mean that in our language... It simly means divine.

If you'd like to know more about the origin of other Christian words such as bible, church, or christ, click the link in my sig.

...Which somebody must have deleted because it's not there anymore?? -___-

I get it on my cheeks, but the worst of it is on my lips and around my eyes.

I'm so horribly scarred from the acne I had until I was about 20, that I grew a beard to cover it up. But it's all over me, not just on my face.

About the word holy?

No, I was joking. I was referring to looking in the mirror and forgetting about it later. Here's what I was talking about:
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. [1:23-24; ESV]
