Animals tend to be dead before I eat their flesh, so no, but eating them does require them to be killed. Two wrong do not make a right and I have never suggested that they do or that I am justified in eating meat because you kill mice. I agree that I kill mice too, we both kill mice, but that is a problem with your belief, not mine. If you truly tried to stop it and didn't think you were more important than animals, then you wouldn't eat a vegan diet. By supporting practices that damage the environment and kill animals, you aren't helping them. I never said that the fact that you aren't helping excuses me.
Just face the facts. Own the fact that you eat an animal's flesh when it is not necessary. NOT NECESSARY. Like Mountain Girl said, we choose not to eat other animals because we don't need to. You don't need to, not to mention that it is terrible for your health. For every burger that you eat, you use 6.7 pounds of grain, 52.8 gallons of water, 74.5 sq feet for land, and 1,036 fossil fuel energy. So yeah, you can try to convince me that a vegan diet is just as bad as meat eating, but facts don't lie.
