I got this from the website I always use so I'm not sure what you're looking at but I do know they always correct things when there's some sort of error. Sometimes when I post the links they change them and I don't always catch it at as quick as I should.

You're not sure what I'm looking at? Look at the two of your posts that I posted...

Numbers 323+325 are the same incident. It's nice that you have faith in the Facebook page you're pulling this from...but how much checking could they possibly be doing if they posted the same incident twice in 3 incidents?

It also throws into question those incidents where the police won't initially name the victim...but do so later in another article after the family has been informed. Without personally combing over each of these cases...how can we know the info is accurate?

Why focus on 'police' killing others.

What about murder rates in Chicago this year or Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington, New Orleans, etc? All staggering! What about the violent crimes committed against police officers on the job or their murder rate this year? What about the massive number of Christians being murdered in the Middle East right now?! It's genocide!

Just questioning the motive of focusing on incidents with just police killing people. Does someone not like police?

What about doctors killing patients? What about vehicle accidents where someone is killed? What about people not stopping to help someone in need? Do these fall in the same category?

As Christians do we condone any killing of persons?

As you can see the error was corrected. I'm not sure why correcting it is a bad thing?

I'm all for correcting mistakes....

My problem is that if they're doing all the correcting themselves, and they can accidentally post the same incident twice in 3 posts, I've got significant reason to doubt the accuracy of their data.

that's not really a problem for me. People make mistakes and as long as they correct it I'm not sure what more can be expected from them. Now if they made a mistake and didn't correct it that would be a problem for me. But if absolute perfection is what you require in your reporting sources I fear you're going to be pretty disappointed in every source you find. :sigh:

Last year The Guardian was keeping track of deaths by law enforcement officers but I cannot see where they are this year. There were almost 1,100.
As someone else posted it is surprising to me that there aren't more than that. It is sad and yes some were not necessary but most of them appear to be justified to me.
You can decide for yourselves. These are for 2015 and 2016.
