It's not CUT & DRIED or 100% ACCURATE, but I think it's pretty clear if you look closely at the MAPS, you will see that the HEALTHIEST STATES are for the most part DEMOCRAT States. Yellow & Green are the LEAST OBESE States & Orange & Red are the MOST OBESE States.

I don't deny what you are pointing to. But on the other hand, those patterns of obesity are long established, whereas many of the states that the map showed us have only recently changed from being mainly Democratic to mainly Republican or vice-versa.

In other words, the connection of obesity to voting preference is not demonstrated.
