"Just received this"
The "underground Church" in Kabul Afghanistan is now at home with the lord. "we received news that the underground. church in Kabul Afghanistan has been martyrd. Our friends have been in contact and met together last night in deep prayer. The last words she spoke were "we feel your prayers because this supernatural boldness came over us and we were singing in the spirit even the kids said mom we will not deny Jesus. As they were on the phone they heard screaming and gun shots."

The other story was a group of believers gathered and all were beheaded. :( praying..

Sorry had to edit.. its "now at home with the lord" .

wow I'm really sorry to hear that, may the Lord grant them a great reward for their faithfulness in the heat of persecution.

Oh I just remembered as he was talking about Afghan and how things are happening there and no one is saying a word. He said (blood of Jesus..me saying that) they got this gay man and (FORGIVE ME) cut him in to pieces and no one said word as in not reported.. PRAYING

No!
Ps.116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
Yes, but it’s still sad. It’s joyful, but it’s sad. It’s ok to weep over the dead. Christ wept. Minutes before He raised a man from the dead. It’s an ok thing to do. Real persecution is actually very psychologically and spiritually difficult.

My heart is not cold to the sufferings of others ...
Christian or otherwise.

I will assume you meant well, but I did not need the public 'scolding'.
I know the verse you quoted very well, and believe it also.

But God has given me a 'caring' heart ...
and so, while you may disagree with feeling or expressing any such sentiment,
I will continue to weep for those for whom I choose to weep.

To weep over the persecution in this world is not a lack of faith.
I believe the Lord weeps at times also, when He looks down and sees a world of suffering ...

God bless.

First, I would apologize for the "public scolding" as I did not mean it to be received as such. Second, my heart was pricked until I remembered the verse. Then I collected myself. I guess I should have thought it through before posting it. Please forgive me.

My heart is 'heavy' often these days ...
for all those that are suffering.

And I believe God puts these things 'heavy' on my heart,
so that I will 'pray' ...

You and I, we appear to see it the same way.
Maybe it is that God has called you to be an intercessor, also ...

Many intercessors are needed for these days we are living in.
I am hoping that many are responding to the call.

I personally am trying my best to make prayer a higher priority in my life.

God bless.

Thank you for taking the time to explaining your initial response.
I understand ... and all is 'good' between us.

I hear you. These days, I do feel called to pray. I have no opportunity for much else, and perhaps that is where Christ wants me; hidden, alone, invisible, praying. Like a cloistered religious, kind of. I think you are right; it is a calling. God bless you.
