So your spirit and flesh are in two separate places ?
why would they be? For I am alive still so my body has my Spirit.
Jas 2:26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

They are.. If my Spirit is not in my body then My Body is dead.. Does not say that my Spirit stays in my body when my Body is dead.. scripture says the body without the spirit is dead.. Is this not what it says..

OK, first you say they are separate, then they are not, then they are ...

What is your final answer ?
No I did not. I said they are seperate.. Where did I say they were the same? You are the one assuming that they are one.. LOL.. This must be a trait of the EO.. Getting use to it.. I have a Spirit in my body.. When my body is dead my spirit is no longer in my body. How can they be one?

You asked me if they were in two seperate places.. This is what I answered.. My Spirit is in my Body.. Now if My Body Dies my Spirit will not be in my body but In my Heavenly dwelling place..

No they are seperate.. I have a spirit and I have a body. My Spirit is born again my body will die.. My Body will be ressurected..
So are you saying that you believe that your body and your spirit are in two separate places?

When your body gets resurrected, where do you believe that your spirit will be?

In my heavenly abode.. Where will yours be? Our Spirit leave our body when our body is dead.. :)

The spirit is part of the reasoning behind every action...because it is YOU.

YOU cannot be seperate from the spirit, even if you are seperate from the body.

The spirit within IS YOU, and what choices you make are YOURS which is the spirit.

I didnt read all of this.....just making a point.

So WHEN your spirit goes on to be judged, the spirit is indeed judged according to the works done in the flesh....

NOW, as for fisheaters.com, they are not actually behind the Pope...and although the devotion in OP is not a bad thing, it is not a necessity.

We are not forced to be devoted to Our Lady to help us when we see our sins...
BUT her love does guide us to come closer to her Son...Our Lord.

She is our helper.
Helper to KNOW Jesus. Nothing more than or above Jesus.

You seem to be complicating things a bit.

Jesus Rose from the DEAD, BODILY. His whole body....and His Divinity.
His Spirit did not rest...but the Spirit is WHo He is. Always was.

This is an example of the Resurrection to come.

WE, who are sinners, shall die bodily, be judged in the spirit, and then at the Resurrection we shall reunite to our bodies.
WE do NOT become two seperate entities running around.

WE become ONE again, as Christ did.

NOTE: When He died, His body remained to be buried, while He went to Hades to judge the souls....whom could go to Heaven.
Abraham, David, etc....
those who were righteous before He came.

Then HE Rose again, both Body and Spirit. AS HE was the FIRST FRUIT of the resurrection.

NOT at all sure you are saying anything different, because from my POV you are seperating both body and spirit for eternity. And that is not possible...since we shall be raised again.

Are you saying our bodies will be one, and our spirit's another?

He sure did do that. For He is the ressurection and the Life.. He is God.
