Psa 106:32-48 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Psa 106:33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lips. Psa 106:34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: Psa 106:35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. Psa 106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Psa 106:37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, Psa 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Psa 106:39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Psa 106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. Psa 106:41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. Psa 106:42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Psa 106:43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Psa 106:44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: Psa 106:45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. Psa 106:46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Psa 106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto you holy name, and to triumph in you praise. Psa 106:48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise you the LORD.

Scribes and Pharisees Parallel the People
Mat 23:27-36 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Mat 23:28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous, Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Mat 23:31 Wherefore you be witnesses unto yourselves, that you are the children of them which killed the prophets. Mat 23:32 Fill you up then the measure of your fathers. Mat 23:33 You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?
Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom you slew between the temple and the altar. Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. Matt Chapter 23
Heb 9:11 But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.
