We "take root" downward and produce fruits upward

And no plant produces only good fruit. I looked at my garden yesterday and saw some citrus fruits that looked like they are not going to make it that will be pruned shortly if they don't come around.

'goes against the grain' your seed her seed thing ... i love idioms always have even when i had no idea to their meaning ...they just struck me as mysteries or treasures as in something deep\buried and yet in your face (truth in plain sight ) much like what's hidden in the field one must sell all they have to purchase it ... a pearl of great price and yet what we give or lose for it is but dross ... as for dragons well i wonder who was the first to depict them as fire breathers seeing we are judged in a pond as in a lake of fire or a consuming fire or refining fire etc etc

Jesus advised us clearly where the Word is sown, Satan enters the heart to steal it. Those who don't believe Jesus in this regards have essentially been stolen from, and don't believe that happens to them. And can't believe it. Because it's not even themselves who are doing the theft. They don't even know what hit them. Or in some cases, don't even care.

That's the general point, and not how you try to spin it above, as if you're immune to an agency that is not you and try to demean the position as something it's not.

There is nothing that stinks more than positions that claim they are better than the average person sinner, because they are not "like them."

Regarding sin and the devil, no one is immune and we all have the infection. That's all there is to the subject. It doesn't even take a religion to see it. Any given person can see the evil stew we're all in up to our ears without being a believer in anything. Evil is entirely open to see for all. What we never see is that it's in us all.

Show how you hate your own life, and you'll see a believing disciple in that claimant, Luke 14:26

Playing with God as if He's some insider mystic is just another cult working it's way through the system
