It is a daily walk. We all fall short .
I don't know. Even when I thought I didn't see eye to eye with something in Catholicism, I never thought that Catholics weren't Christians....
My post and your reply to my post make me a hypocrite, but I don't know if you can connect the dots and understand what I'm really trying to say. It's similar to what you said though.I will be honest. I don't consider protestants to be saved, but I still love them. Unless they (protestants) are living in invincible ignorance, then I don't consider them to be saved. But I still love them as my neighbors.

It's ironic how we are supposed to practice what we preach, yet I smell animosity whenever I announce that I am a Catholic. What happened to love your neighbors?

I feel the same though I do distinguish between Protestants and evangelicals, whom I feel just like you that they may not be saved.
If you felt the need to justify yourself, you would not be invincibly ignorant. The catechisms says it is possible through invincible ignorance. But, ignorance is never bliss. I would not want to have to appear before Christ, and have to justify myself using invincible ignorance.

Spelling errors aside, I have no idea what this sentence means.I think once your standing before Christ, who will determine your destiny, and find out you were sitting on wrong side of the isle, at that point, anything will you say.
Except we DO share a considerable amount of theology.I agree though I would say most evangelical theology is garbage and throughout CF and other forums heresy abounds in spades
To be Protestant is to have to use a particular kind of blinders when reading the Bible.A link? Absolutely. But Protestants claim the link is not in the bible. So I'm not sure what bible they are reading since my bible shows the link, loud and clear.
The more I see the differences though, the less this seems to be the caseExcept we DO share a considerable amount of theology.
Well, they do have valid baptisms. And very few Protestants actually rebelled from the Catholic Church but instead grew up in their Protestant communities, so they do not have the personal responsibility for schism.I will be honest. The more I see the differences though, the less this seems to be the caseHeck, they even disagree on the nature of Jesus' death for our sins (penal substitution). If P's and C's can't agree on that foundation, what gives?
They disagree on everything even on disagreeing
