It's not science that is going to disprove evolution.

History is.

At the risk of starting something...

How is "History" going to disprove evolution? (Or have any impact on it at all?)

As I said, Jesus has the ability to take us back to 4004 BC and show us what happened.

By exposing it as a lie of the devil.

So is Jesus going to rewind time back to 4004 BCE, or just take a select few, or what?

When does he have this field trip planned for?

What good does it do the Devil to lie about it? It seems to me that it would serve the Devil's purposes better to lie about our salvation in Christ rather than the minor matter of the genre determination of the Genesis creation stories. No essential point of Christian doctrine depends on the literal inerrancy of Genesis.

So the devil has power of creation? And not only in fossils but in the organism of every creature on the face of the Earth including you? You give him quite a bit of power.

AV's version of the devil (shared with many) is very powerful. I'm not sure if even God could overcome it. (At least that's the way these presentations often make it seem. I'm not trying to diminish God, only trying to understand the relative powers of this God and this Devil.)

Creationists have become Manichaeans.

Creationists have become Manichaeans.

I had to google that!

Religion would just be a whole lot more pleasant if it's natural evolution didn't provoke a jihad every time. A Manichaean Creationist sect of Christianity -- cool! But, alas the purifiers always come out...

He can use it to get people to take the Mark during the Tribulation Period by making evolution so simple any child could understand it.

Complete with a demonstration of abiogenesis.

Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Why would acceptance of evolution make a person take the mark? Does acceptance of any other scientific theory have that same effect?

That's what so odd about creationist claims about evolution. They make it seem like evolution (and science in general) was designed to lead people away from Christianity, when most Christians have no issue reconciling science and Christianity.

In that respect, one could argue that the devil is behind ideas of Biblical literalism and creationism, since those are more likely to cause crisis of faith among Christians.

The Antichrist just may be a superscientist; using science to recruit those left behind to line up to take the Mark.

For those left behind who couldn't care less about science ... well ... they won't be able to buy or sell without it.

The devil has power over creation? Really?
Limited power.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

You're not one of those "fossils were planted by the devil to test people's faith" types are you?
No.

It's interesting to note that, when God showed up, He asked Job some seventy questions, all pertaining to creation.

I'd love to see Him do the same to a physics professor.

Then what's your argument?

Biological evolution and common ancestry is a conclusion because that is what things in nature look like.

Claiming that it's a "lie of the devil" seems a bit trite.

On top of that, you've admitted you don't even understand evolution. How can one pass judgement on something they don't know anything about?

Like Subduction Zone says, if you understood it, you'd probably accept it. But you seem afraid of understanding it.
