It's not science that is going to disprove evolution.
History is.
As I said, Jesus has the ability to take us back to 4004 BC and show us what happened. At the risk of starting something...
How is "History" going to disprove evolution? (Or have any impact on it at all?)
As I said, Jesus has the ability to take us back to 4004 BC and show us what happened.
By exposing it as a lie of the devil. How would that disprove evolution?
So the devil has power of creation? And not only in fossils but in the organism of every creature on the face of the Earth including you? You give him quite a bit of power.By exposing it as a lie of the devil.
By exposing it as a lie of the devil.
What good does it do the Devil to lie about it? It seems to me that it would serve the Devil's purposes better to lie about our salvation in Christ rather than the minor matter of the genre determination of the Genesis creation stories. No essential point of Christian doctrine depends on the literal inerrancy of Genesis.By exposing it as a lie of the devil.

Creationists have become Manichaeans.AV's version of the devil (shared with many) is very powerful. I'm not sure if even God could overcome it. (At least that's the way these presentations often make it seem. I'm not trying to diminish God, only trying to understand the relative powers of this God and this Devil.)

He can use it to get people to take the Mark during the Tribulation Period by making evolution so simple any child could understand it.What good does it do the Devil to lie about it?
Why would acceptance of evolution make a person take the mark? Does acceptance of any other scientific theory have that same effect? He can use it to get people to take the Mark during the Tribulation Period by making evolution so simple any child could understand it.
Complete with a demonstration of abiogenesis.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

The Antichrist just may be a superscientist; using science to recruit those left behind to line up to take the Mark. Why would acceptance of evolution make a person take the mark? Does acceptance of any other scientific theory have that same effect?
Limited power. The devil has power over creation? Really?
No.pitabread said:You're not one of those "fossils were planted by the devil to test people's faith" types are you?
It's interesting to note that, when God showed up, He asked Job some seventy questions, all pertaining to creation. That's what so odd about creationist claims about evolution. They make it seem like evolution (and science in general) was designed to lead people away from Christianity, when most Christians have trouble reconciling science and Christianity.
