um, dr phil profiled really sick bipolars.

he kept on bringing up their actions, making them fess up to various horrendous acts, like punching your son, stealing a taxi, or contemplating robbing a bank. he really fixed on it, trying to make them get how much they've hurt people. no one in their lives thought that they were sane, and they themselves didn't feel like they could be helped with medication and therapy.

it really didn't help the "image" of bipolars because we're not all violent or thieves, even manic. it was hard to watch. and he didn't help those suffering by not giving any suggestions or practical help, no five steps to recovery or whatever.

just some thoughts. but, i guess, at least he mentioned it.

People in my Bible study know that I've been diagnosed as bipolar. I really hope none of them saw that show or they'll think I'm a raging car crasher.

that's all shoking. i couldn't get it to work, so i didn't see it. in therephy i met alot of other's who had their kids taken away. i use to get really mean, but through therepy and spiritual growth, i overcame that. i never lost my children. contrary i have always been told that i'm a very good parent. i think being saved helps us more than we realize!
