prayers.If anybody reads this post today, can you please pray for me? I'm kind of anxious to be getting my period (I'm a day late today), and I know that stress could be delaying it, just making things worse.So please pray that I would have peace! Thank you.

Does anyone know how the flu affects ovulation?
I'm due to ovulate within the next day or two (I'm supposed to start using the ovulation predictor tomorrow) but as of yesterday I've got a temp of 102 degrees, diarrhea etc (sorry if TMI)
I don't want to miss this opportunity but I'm wondering if being sick could speed things up or slow things down (should I test a day early?)
I'm due to ovulate within the next day or two (I'm supposed to start using the ovulation predictor tomorrow) but as of yesterday I've got a temp of 102 degrees, diarrhea etc (sorry if TMI)

That sounds nasty. Hope it doesn't affect your fertility this month....also hope you get better soon!

It's ok - I'm laughing too.
I'm in my 5th month of trying (using IUI with anomynous donor sperm), and I have been consistently ovulating around Day 20, even while taking Clomid.
Earlier this month, I didn't think to count the days to see when Day 20 falls on. It falls on Thanksgiving. The doctor's office isn't open - I checked.
So, I'm praying it is Day 21, then I can get in on Saturday, when the doctor's office is open.
I just figured this out yesterday. Luckily the cryobank is open today so I picked up the tank to keep over the weekend just in case.
Obviously, if it doesn't work, I'll skip next month You know, with Christmas and New Years going on around that time...
I hope someone finds this as funny as I do.
On a serious note, if it doesn't work this time, I'm going to try a different donor. I talked to the lady at the cryobank, and she said that they contract with banks in California and Chicago that are much bigger and have many more donors to choose from. She also thinks that by now the doctor would have wanted to check my fallopian tubes, and said that if I want to switch doctors she can recommend a couple they work with. I don't know if I want to go those routes right now (should probably talk to my husband about this first). I am kind of glad there are other options along these lines.
Also, I was a clumsy fool and cut my hand and had to get stitches a couple weeks ago. When I was getting my stitches out, the nurse and I got to talking and she went through something similar and gave me some more information about what we are doing that I didn't know. Almost like it was meant to happen.

Really happy for you. We're not trying to conceive for a little while now because my worklife is too unhealthy for pregnancy, but we're hoping to try in the near future. It's really encouraging to hear others' success stories.

I was 2 days late based on a 28-day cycle. But my cycle varies from 25-29 days, so it's hard to know exactly.
