Hmm, gracefaith, I'll be curious to see what happens next. I glad you got a spike:)
Well, the crummy part is that I will have to wait 2 weeks from the spike. Since it seems like I ovulated about a week late, I have to wait a week longer that usual to test. :( I'm having a 5 weeks cycle.

I guess I'm kind of glad that I take my BBT. Otherwise, I would be a week late, getting my hopes up, taking PTs and getting negatives. Who wants that?

Boy, do I have a crazy story to tell. I think this TTC thing must be severely affecting my brain. I got up at 2AM this morning to take my last pg test. Hubby also woke up and had to use the bathroom which gave me all of thirty seconds to watch the test. I hid it in my pocket, went to the kitchen and tried to figure out how I was going to hide my insanity from a husband who is very fed up with pg tests. It took him two minutes to figure out what I was doing. I threw the test in the garbage (which had been carried around so I didn't bother squinting in 2AM light to see if a line came up) and went to bed. Hubby asked me not to buy anymore until I miss AF. What a crazy night..and then I couldn't fall back asleep until three.

Have you tested tigercub??

Yeah I think I posted about the two times I have tested this cycle (on last page) one came up with a very faint line after about 10 hours, the other (used on day period was due) had a weird line through it. Like a paint dribble. I figured it was defective.

Next testing is Sunday.

AF is now 5 days late.

Tigercub, I noticed that too! What a crazy glitch.
I told Hubby tonight that I never agreed to not buy anymore pg tests and he sort of pouted and said "I know" but still asked to "please chill out." So....I'm going to test again on Saturday (which is when AF is due). If I'm not pg, I'll be shocked. I've had the AF type cramps, the mild nausea for days and days, the drops of who knows what on my underwear. I will be totally blown away if AF shows up.
Oh and about the 2AM test:p Yes, I dug it out after work and yes there was a super faint line, but you just can't take it as a positive anything after the first ten minutes. Which is fine, when it's two lines, I want it to be within the time frame so I have absolutely no doubts. I'm sure y'all can relate:hug:

lol, I just did the same thing faithingrace, so don't feel too bad. Today is 11dop and AF is due in two days. Little bits of worry are starting to creep in, but it's not over till it's over! I even resorted to taking the stupid thing apart to see if I was imagining things. I'm fairly sure I was. Grr...tomorrow is another day and another test. Thank God for dollar stores or we wouldn't be able to pay rent!

How silly is this? I keep thinking I am pregnant and we're not even trying. I want so much to have a baby. I'm going to be chatting to my hubby about it tomorrow and we're going to start thinking and planning. Looking forward to it. Maybe I'll be a true TTCer by next week!

Maharg, welcome to the world of the baby fevered obsessed. I have to admit three months after I got married, I thought I was pg (I want on BC pills!) and this wasn't just one month, it was at least six that I said to Hubby "Honey, I think I'm pg." The man is fed up. Now we are truly TTC and it's much much worse now. I hope you have more patience and peace that I have experienced.

Beth, that's hilarious! I pulled mine apart too! You should have seen me turning it and angling it and trying different types of lighting! Finally I had to throw it out and I bought two more tests! I know I will test again in the morning. Oh well, what can I say? I keep praying for patience. :p

I have no idea how I'm going to tell hubby but he's a big sports nut, so I thought I'd buy him a baby hockey jersey or soccer [wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth]. Or maybe a soccer dad t-shirt. Or maybe matching ones for him and the kids with one extra and let him figure it out! lol. What do you think?
I also really want to tell him over dinner but we have no babysitter!
I wonder if I'll have patience to do anything at all?:p
