All the ladies at church that are pregnant are due to deliver in the next couple of months, it's hard. Yesterday I saw one of the mom's that had her baby a few weeks early, and I couldn't bring myself to even go talk to her for fear of bursting out in tears.

I'm teaching the 'baby' class at church this quarter - it probably wasn't the best idea for me, but when I was called and put on the spot I didn't know what else to do but say 'ok'.

Jen - we can't afford the HSG either, so I'm afraid that going to the RE would be a waste, since he probably won't want to do anything without doing the HSG first.

If they are anything like the one I went to - they did all the blood tests first. She told me I would have to call my insurance company to see if they would cover the HSG - and since they won't cover much of it, I told them to just hold off, and they seemed fine with it. The way I look at it is - it's my money, my body... I think I should be able to decide if and when I want a certain test done as long as it makes sense to do it. That's why I left my current dr. He refused to do the Progesterone test - and I finally got a new dr who wanted it done right away. So now just waiting on the results... however, some of those blood tests were pricey too - you might be able to ask for a list of tests and how much they charge. I got one from my current dr and it really helps! Good Luck!

How are all you ladies doing?

I am preparing for my endo lap next week. I'm starting to get really scared- not sure what to expect when they are in there. Apparently I have severe endo and the dr said the procedure should be about 4 hrs.

They are also going to "flush out" my fallopian tubes. Has anyone ever had this done?

I had this done last month. I felt a pretty hard pinching sensation when they inserted the catheter through my cervix and had some mild cramps and spotting the rest of the day, but it wasn't so bad.

Well, AF showed her ugly face the other day - wasn't too big of a surprise, but anyway - here we go again, cycle 25 is it??

I'm starting a new cycle too - one week into it... I'm still waiting to hear on my blood test results. My reg doc called and said two came back normal. But I just told him I'd found a specialist and would wait to hear from them since they are the ones that ordered the test. I just don't trust my regular doctor anymore. I think I'll call the specialist and see if they've gotten all the results yet. Like I said, if it all comes back normal, we will give it up for awhile. I'm so tired of all this...

Well ladies... I finally got DH to go in for his blood test to compare our blood and our small town hospital messed it up. They had him in there for 5 hours and still didn't do the test - evidently they didn't know what it was!?!? So he has no leave time left at work and probably won't go back. It seems like every time we take one step forward someone or something pushes us five steps back. I have to wonder if it's not God's way of saying He doesn't want us to have kids now (or ever?)... I don't know - it's just getting so frustrating - I'm ready to give up... Like I said earlier, I think this will be our last month trying... I just don't know...

Oh! Good luck to you! I don't know how you could wait a whole week, though. I'd go nuts!

On the flip side, I'm getting my period today, which means only 1-2 cycles left until I get the IUD out and start TTC. And, even better news, this is the 3rd month where my cycle has been exactly 28 days! Woooooo-hoo!

Why do I even bother... why?

Ever get the feeling that you just need to run away and hide? Everywhere I turn there is either someone who is pregnant, just got pregnant, just had a baby, thinks they are pregnant... ugh.

Can't there be some sort of TTC island that you can be put on until you finally conceive so you don't have to face all the things that break your heart?

I couldn't even pick out a baby shower card the other day without breaking down in Target... I was crying so hard
