Why do the people feel the need to disprove evolution with some pseudo-scientific nonsense? You will never win a scientific debate with anyone reasonable schooled in biology. And I can't see the point of it, christian belief has never been about factual claims about physics or biology.

The christian God is not an intelligent designer. He can't possible be. Because this world is not very intelligently designed. God is an artist. He created a free world out of pure joy not because he wanted to impress someone with this "super-intelligent design" of his.

Nor, indeed, to create a world without suffering. If his making the human oesophagus and trachea adjacent was an artistic whim, then he doesn't sound like a being that should be worshipped.
