No. But some will only believe after they have died, and this quite unfortunately for them is the only means by which they will believe the words of God.

Not sure how to break this to you, but once you're dead, you won't believe anything.

And yet, like has been said so many times before, and regardless of how 'unfortunate' it is, these ideas are all unproven in the same way that the claim of a deity is unproven.

Oh oh. A positive statement

Not believing is one thing but to tell another poster they are wrong is another

What evidence do you have for this? I know you wouldn't try to make your opinion fact. Would you?

Alive = brain waves
Dead = no brain waves

Let me fix that for ya

Alive -- brain waves
Dead -- no known brain waves

Sorry friend. I don't KNOW and neither do you

EQUALity is for everyone
And after the body has decomposed, and the brain tissue has turned to dust? Do you suppose they're still believing things, or do their thoughts become part of the great ether?

Have you ever been contacted by someone who has died?

As much as someone can know a thing, you can assert that humans don't "believe" anything after they're dead and gone.

God's testimony.

He cannot lie and He has said that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. This will happen for many only after they die and stand before Him.

This is a statement. What we're asking for is actual evidence.

(you do know what empirical evidence is, right?)

And this too is belief.

"God cannot". Whenever those two words are in a statement together the statement is unbiblical. God can do anything

Do you believe in the view expressed in the following proposition:

If a statement cannot be empirically verified, then we should disregard the statement.

Generally speaking, yes. You know what they say though, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Hume's maxim, Occam's razor, etc.

Let me ask you this: Do you tend to believe everything anyone tells you?
