It's from the top of page 31. For the future, you can just search (CTRL F) on an uncommon word from any quotation.
Trump only made a passing remark to Miller about needing 10,000 National Guard troops on January 5th. Miller took his comment to mean that a large force would be required to maintain order the following day and nothing more. It was in no way an offer to provide them on Trump's part.

If the Capitol police and other security could not handle the situation and Pelosi, or the mayor of D.C., or Chuck Schumer decided they wanted the National Guard to help and had called President Trump for assistance knowing the president he would have acted at the drop of a hat.
D Trump watched live on TV the insurrection as it happened. He had first hand knowledge that some had weapons, he even pointed them towards the capital. His staff, his family and his favourite opinion show hosts were all pleading with him to call off the dogs, but he kept watching for over three hours.

But you are saying if Nancy had given Trump a special call he would have rushed to do as she tells him, at the drop of a hat?

How is this fanciful narrative plausible?

"Insurrection" is a hoax, just like Russia Russia Russia and the Hunter Biden laptop Russian disinformation hoax. People can only be conned so many times.

Why Nancy Pelosi or any of the Democrats did not call President Trump for assistance on January 6 is another topic.

You have long established your blind spot for President Trump's responsibilities, but this comment really takes the cake! He is the President!....he is responsible to defend the Constitution, our country - which includes, eh-hem, the Congress.

And btw, numerous members of Congress, the VP and others did beg for his help.

It seems strange to me for someone who is going to lead an insurrection to even passingly mention bringing in National Guard troops. It's clear that no matter how the president acted progressives will try and condemn it. If Trump moved in National Guard troops without the consent of the mayor of D.C. and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer I am sure there would be calls for prosecuting him for violation of their jurisdiction.

A president has to follow the law, Joe Biden is breaking the law by not enforcing the border laws and not protecting the Supreme court by enforcing the law, that's why he will be impeached--for violating the law. A president does not have unlimited power, in our form of government we have three equal but separate branches of government.

Joe Biden was not President on January 6th.

At minimum President Trump failed to act. Nothing you say or write here will change that fact.

And president Trump broke no laws on January 6. You and I failed to act, so did Pelosi and Schumer. We are at the point now where if President Trump did not act exactly as leftists think he should have that he must be condemned. Our country is facing real problems, sky high inflation, single moms in particular are struggling, the southern border is an international disaster, criminals are quickly released and more innocent people pay the price. The elite in Washington see Trump as a threat to entrenched government corruption and do not want the people to have a chance to vote him in again.

The defeated former President was derelict in his duty at minimum. He is being exposed for what he is and was.

I will agree that the Biden Hunter laptop thing is probably a hoax.
But the Insurrection was very real, lots of footage right. Not just CGI there.
And the Russian interference was very real, lots of indictments. The media reported on an investigation into collaboration by people in Trump's campaign with Russia, and they were dead on, there was an investigation about exactly that.

There's a nice little article on the Russian collusion hoax at Opinion | Hillary Clinton Did It
There was no insurrection--that's a hoax. There was no attempt to takeover the U.S. government, there were some individuals who rioted and should be jailed, as there were hundreds of cases of rioting throughout the country the summer before.

I think we all know that. But the thing you and the others are failing to recognize as to what Trump wanted to do before Jan 6. But I don't believe he had the authority to just bring in the NG without anyone's permission or agreement.

The fact that he didn't act more quickly on the 6th is indisputable. And these hearing are still a waste of time and taxpayer money. We don't need them to see that trump didn't act like he should have.

But they still have proven he planned, organized ordered or was involved in Jan 6.

We didn't need this huge taxpayer expense to know this. It was blatantly clear before this committee got involved.
I have seen zero wrongdoing on the part of President Trump in regard to January 6. The fact that the committee's emergency meeting with supposed "bombshell" testimony was hearsay and quickly contradicted by the Secret Service, and the failure of the committee to date to present the Secret Service testimony, makes it clear the committee is out to frame President Trump in any way they can. They are doing this to usurp the power of the American people to vote for the candidate of their choice. I think the committee members have gone way over the line and those who do not lose in the next election should be heavily sanctioned by the new Congress.

D Trump and the Republican party attempted to takeover the US government.
Have you not been watching the public hearings?

It costs money to prosecute all involved. It is the price of electing these kinds of people.

We could have used some of this money to go after Hunter.

...and living in country where officials are held to account for their actions. However, it seems some believe oversight is a waste of time and resources...
