I believe what I hear directly from the testimony of the people in authority and under oath.

Making an offer is not a command to address a dangerous situation that is underway.

The defeated former President was derelict in his duty at minimum. He is being exposed for what he is and was.

We were all alive in 2020...we all watched a lot of Democratic mayors and governors refuse offers for federal help, including the national guard, repeatedly as their cities were burned and looted.

Let's not pretend that the left suddenly cares about dereliction of duty now.

I know there was a formal request dated December 31 for National guard support made to General Walker by Muriel Bowser mayor of D.C.

That request was for help in crowd management for January fifth and sixth.

Where does it say that Trump, on Jan. 6, gave the order to activate the NG?
Pence did it.
And certainly, Trump never said anything about 10,000 or 20,000 troops!

bombshell" testimony was hearsay and quickly contradicted by the Secret Service, and the failure of the committee to date to present the Secret Service testimony, makes it clear the committee is out to frame President Trump in any way they can.

The SS has been asked to come and testify under oath before the committee. Instead of doing that, they lawyered up.

And that's something curious....because if Trump is requesting it, and the mayor requests it, why wasn't it provided?

BTW this whole "requested/requested in passing" phrase is an attempt to shift blame away from whomever denied the request.

It's supposed to give the impression that Trump mumbled something about national guard troops or security that no one really understood ot followed up on.

The complaint that he didn't act fast enough sounds eerily familiar to the Hillary Benghazi investigations when this fighter group or those soldiers could have been deployed....but weren't.

Had Trump requested the NG during the riot, they would be accusing him of not requesting the NG before the riot. Since he requested them before the riot....they want to know why he didn't during the riot.

That's the trick to pretending you're a moral person. Just pick whatever someone didn't do and claim that was the moral thing to do.

Did the police shoot the subject too quickly? Accuse them of not trying to deescalate and not giving the subject enough time to surrender peacefully.
Did the police ensure the subject had plenty of time to surrender peacefully? Accuse them of not shooting him quickly enough.

How do they feel about trans issues? 100% for them as long as they aren't in any way affected by them....much like illegal immigrants.

How about abortion? What about little girls who get raped? No need to worry about catching the rapist as long as she can access abortions.
