Right...and that's the crime? That they were being placed after the real electors had already voted?
The crimes are impersonating public officials and forging official documents. Both pretty series things.

I've no doubt....even if these are all first time offenders, they may be in prison a few years.

They conspired to sign a fraudulent election document and mailed it to the National Archives. They were not 'duly elected and qualified Electors'.

word-image-17.png

The concerns came up in a December email from Kenneth Chesebro, a lawyer for Trump’s campaign. “Ward and Townsend are concerned it could appear treasonous for the AZ electors to vote on Monday if there is no pending court proceeding that might, eventually, lead to the electors being ratified as the legitimate ones,” he wrote in December of 2020.

Kelli Ward apparently got over any qualms about treason.

No it's not. The right has overwhelming called what happened a riot. There's of course a few knuckle heads who didn't, just like there were some knuckle heads who didn't call the BLM riots, riots.
alrighty then

You don't have a clue what they go by.

You think if they call it "female sports" trans women will be fine with being excluded? If we just relabel restrooms male and female....problem solved?
I didn't know there was a problem. The problem seems to be yours.

Yeah....trans women were demanding access to women's restrooms, etc.

I'm surprised that you didn't hear about it.
I think toilets should be handled in the European way. Where I have been, most toilets are a small vestibule with a toilet in it and a lock. The sinks are co-ed. It's not stalls but a tiny room (water closet). Problem solved.

Then there is the lockerroom issue of course. A "woman" with breasts but still a penis, probably just as out of place in a men's or woman's. They could solve the problem with co-ed locker rooms with private showers with a door. You can shower and change in privacy.

It's not like it's quantum physics. THe big problem is people might have to do things a little differently. That is the conservative hangup. Nothing should change unless it changes to what it was before.

An Analysis of a Recent DoD Inspector General Investigation and Other Matters By Colonel Earl G. Matthews, U.S. Army
The purpose of this memorandum is to outline and detail the myriad inaccuracies, false or misleading statements, or examples of faulty analysis contained in a recent publicly released Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG) report of its investigation into the Department of Defense’s actions leading up to and in response to the violent assault on the U.S. Capitol which occurred on 6 January 2021.

Army officer alleges reprisal for his account of Capitol riot response

Earl Matthews, a key figure in the Jan. 6 investigation, claims that, despite his qualifications for promotion, the Army has blocked his advancement

An Army lawyer who disputed his service’s official account of the Pentagon’s response to the U.S. Capitol assault on Jan. 6, 2021, claims he is the subject of professional reprisal for telling Congress that superior officers had lied to lawmakers investigating both the riot and the Trump administration’s reaction to the violence.

Matthews’s allegation, outlined in a complaint he made several weeks ago to the Defense Department Office of Inspector General, marks the latest salvo in an unresolved dispute between the Department of the Army and the D.C. National Guard, whose leaders at the time of the Capitol attack have complained publicly that senior officials at the Pentagon failed to act with urgency as the crisis unfolded.

In his December 2021 memorandum, Matthews criticized two senior Army officers, Gen. Charles Flynn and Lt. Gen. Walter Piatt, for not acting more quickly during the riot. He described them as “absolute liars” for how they characterized the day to lawmakers.

Matthews served during the riot as the senior legal counsel to the commander of the D.C. National Guard, Maj. Gen. William Walker. In previous testimony to Congress, Walker has said that restrictions placed upon him by Ryan McCarthy, then the Army secretary, and Christopher Miller, then the acting defense secretary, prevented him from sending forces to assist.
