Trump says he will ban "transgender insanity", eliminate Dept. of Education

I'd vote for Trump on the basis of this alone.

This week, Donald Trump gave a campaign speech in Ottumwa, Iowa where he announced that if he is elected president in 2024, he plans to “cut federal funding” to any school in the country that he believes is pushing what he calls “transgender insanity.”
“On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children,” Trump said in the speech.
Trump also made it clear that he wants to get rid of the Department of Education to give more power back to the states to make those decisions. "I am going to terminate the Department of Education – move education back to the states,” Trump said.
