Trouble with my pastor's secular job

My pastor does a secular job during the week. He's a terrific employee, evidently, but he stands his ground and won't work Sundays. This has stirred up issues with the management.

Lately they have been keeping him on Wednesdays so that he is unable to be with us for our weekly prayer gathering/Bible study combination. The crazy schedule has made his pastoral duties more difficult and causing great anxiety with him and his wife.

His wife said he used to make more than $100,000 a year, but it was cut in half so he could take a more flexible position. Now he may have to go down to position at $8 an hour!

I know our church really wants to take him on full-time, and we're anxious too that we hope we could take him on full-time. We've all been praying.

May God guide your pastor, and your church, as to His will, and His timing. May He provide right work outside the church for your pastor, so long as such as needed, and so long as it advances His Kingdom.
