He is responsible for instructing them in all of what scripture says. Part of that is application.
That's for only God's people only. God's teacher's are supposed to teach the good news to people. That want to hear it, and live it. Not force the Good news onto people, that don't want to hear the Good news, or live by it. To be honest. Government laws should be for worldly people. Godly people should know how to behave. Sadly some churches aren't doing what God wants them to do.

The secular nature of the Constitution (and the federal government it brought about) is one of its more unique (for its time) principles. If you want to discard it, then you are not at all trying to conserve the vision of the Founders.
Except that it was written with biblical principles. Other than that…

I know you're being trite but you DO know what a "theocracy" is right? Because this demonstrates you don't quite know.
God rule. Isn’t that what Christians should want?

Do you understand the point that is being made there?

He's talking about how a government rules over its citizenry.

A government cannot go to "hell" and a government is ALWAYS bigger than just one person (at least in democracies).

There is a HUGE difference between chaos and Secular leadership.
Secular leadership leads to chaos.

Secular leadership leads to chaos.
See the problem is that this has 0 basis in reality.
You are foisting up the Democrat party and it's candidate from 2020 and making a claim for something that would be true for 179 countries around the world for hundreds of years.

You can say American secular leadership....or Democratic secular leadership...and at LEAST you'd have a semblance of referring to our common world.

But htis statement? nah.

Since God created math, it’s all Christian math.
I would ask if you are kidding but sadly I know you are not. No, math is a human invention. It is the abstract language of nature.

Is this verse just like, a "catchall"?

God ALREADY has all authority. He doesn't need you or me to fight for him to have power over the US government. He ALREADY DOES. You think he isn't in control of all this already? Of COURSE he is....

He doesn't ask for a theocratic government; it's an extension of the "Give to Caesar what is Caesar and give to God what is his". Give your political allegiance to your government (WHICH, as you know Paul insists upon as well) and give your soul and your living up to God.

History shows otherwise. So does scripture.

Except that it was written with biblical principles.
It's not even written with monotheistic principles, much less biblical ones.
The only comments about religion are forbidding ones. No religious test for office. No establishment of religion.

It's Enlightenment ideals with a healthy soupçon of classical Greco-Roman touches like democracy, a republic, and a Senate.

Your biblical illiteracy is showing.

God the Father had authority. Now the authority belongs to God the Son, given to Him by His Father. He will reign until all His enemies are made His footstool, the last enemy being death.

The framers were either Christians, or at least deists who held to Christian principles. It is insane to imagine that they would chuck all of that and come up with a Constitution completely devoid of biblical principles.

As to the establishment clause, the reason it’s in there is because most states already had official churches, but they weren’t the same. So they didn’t want to try to have one single official church.

They were very wise.

Unless you think God makes mistakes like requiring imaginary numbers to make the math come out correctly? "Lol. Mkay" indeed.
Numbers are useless unless they actually represent something in reality. God created reality in an orderly fashion. That’s why we have what are called laws of nature. So yes, the math used to figure things out wasn’t created, it was discovered.
