please Jesus help this little one please help her family and the ones who loves her
please may there be forgiveness to the father who did this he may have not been in his right mind and maybe unwell , please heal her and keep her safe

Update!

He was supposed to be arrested on the 9th, but they could not find him. I've have not been able to get a hold of the mother for a couple of days, but I contacted her step mom today and she told us that the baby is still in the hospital and that the mother is staying somewhere safe. Nobody is going home until they actually apprehend him. His phone has been turned off, and nobody knows of anyone who has seen him or heard from him or knows his whereabouts. The detective called me today to see if I knew anything. I do not.

This is absolutely insane.

The mother returned to work today. The baby is home and is doing better. She will likely have permanent damage, but she is otherwise healing. The father was finally found and arrested. He's being held without bail and is facing a Class X felony and 30 years.

Lord have mercy. I hope he goes to prison for the rest of his life. As someone who would love nothing more than to have a baby but can't - these kinds of stories are very hard to hear.
