I find it absurd that they Michael Eric Dyson would claim black people cannot enact racism via institution, yet he is a professor at Georgetown University (which is an institution) using his position to influence young minds. To claim someone like Oprah Winfrey (voted as one of the most powerful women in the world by Forbes) and Barrack Obama (US presidents are considered the most powerful people in the world because of their position) aren’t powerful enough to be racist, but some powerless white man can is offensive, foolish, and absurd. This is just some craziness cooked up by racist in an effort to let themselves off the hook, while pointing a finger at everyone else.

Excellent points. I've seen interviews with some of those people and I noticed they only spew that nonsense when they are in front of a crowd or interviewer where they know they will not be challenged.It doesn't really surprise me....racists often feel they have legitimate reasons for their rscidm.
Power doesn't have anything to do with the definition of racism. If a KKK Grand Dragon gets thrown in jail for life....it's not as if he has any "power" yet I doubt anyone in the video would suddenly claim he was no longer racist.

She's specifically making the claim that there are too many white students in a multicultural center. She argues that this was envisioned as a place for students of color, and that having too many white students detracts from its purpose.
I think that's a somewhat valid concern, but that there's a racist element to it in that people who are technically "white" can still be minorities--religious minorities, Eastern Europeans, etc. I also think that trying to expel white people from multicultural settings is counterproductive if your aim is improving race relations rather than introducing a new age of segregation.
I wouldn't punish her for it, though I don't care for the vindictive "conform or be exiled" aspect of progressive culture in general.
