Hovind has been refuted numerous times. Their sources have not.

Yep everything or almost everything that he has ever said has been refuted so many times it's laughable.

Hovind is just another CrackPot.

Just to add... It's sad how crackpot stuff gets believed sometimes more than the real stuff. :(

Well no one has asked for sources. Everything has been talked about so many times here but people never search the forum they want it all given to them. But hey do you want me to get you a few sources I am sure me, and someone else can give you all the sources you need.

I'm not attacking you, I'm merely participating in the debate.  The comments I added were not directed towards you, they were merely adding to the discussion, so relax.  I've assumed nothing concerning you, or anyone else.  And yes, I hold my position both ways.

Science doesn't refute Christianity, Christianity doesn't refute science.  I've stated, defended, and debated this stance many times in the past.

Relax man, just because someone adds something to a debate doesn't mean it's directed at you.  It's simply a discussion.  That's all.

Oh, just for some forum help... when you quote someone and begin to discuss, it looks a whole lot like you're replying to them...

However, at the time YOU say that dinosaurs would be walking the earth: about 200 million years ago. The centrifucal force of the spinning earth would cause those dinosaurs to fly off the earth.

I have done the math on this one, using the data given by NASA. The spindown rate of the earth translates to  about 1.5 seconds every 100,000 years. So if you go back about 4.3 billion years, the earth was spinning fast enough that the first day was about 1.5/100,000 of second long. The second day was 3/100,000 second long. By the time the earth got up to where there was 5 to 6 hours of daylight, then Science tells us that the trees and grass began to grow. I have done enough gardening, with putting plants in shade and in the sun. So I know most plants require 5 to 6 hours a day of direct sunlight per day.

The earth spins at 0.5 km/sec.

The earth revolves around the sun at 30 km/sec

The solar system revolves around the milky way at 250 km/sec

The milky way moves though the galexy at 300 km/sec
