I picked up turkey suasage (less fat), and I did have a bag of instant red beans and rice on the shelf. I found strawberriesn and blueberries for fruit. I think I have some lettuce left in the fridge for salad.

Supper is on!

yesterday we had subs...my dH has sushi !

My DH is cooking kimshee (it's a cabbage that is hot and spicey!) sounds gross to me....and it's stinking up the house!

Even burning my pumpkin spice candle isn't helping!!

tonight's dinner?? who knows!

I am not sure what I am making for tonights dinner yet but am leaning towards fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli

Me neither...too much stuff to get done today to think and plan well for dinner. I better pause an do that. I'll get back to you guys!

I don't like Kimshee either. I have never had it, but just the smell is gross.


Tonight we are just doing basic finger foods. My son is playing cricket after school and we won't get home until 5:30, so it's just basic salad, finger foods and home made chicken nuggets. So they can sit on a picnic rug tonight (we are Summer here so still rather picnicky weather) and just have healthy finger foods.


I did buy some low fat icecream tonight if they are in the mood for a Wednesday night treat. Even if they're not I will be because Wednesday seems to me the hardest day of the week. Friday still seems so far off and I am worn out already ROFL.

I ended up making easy Chicken pot pie in a pan.

(1 bag frozen mixed veggies, a couple of hand fulls of frozen pregrilled/cut chicken out of a bag, 3 cups of hot instant chicken gravy, throw it in a 9x13 inch pyrex pan, layer thawed philo dough over the top, and spray between with cooking spray. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes, the first 30 minutes covered with tin foil.

Super easy.

Now I am back to square one. It is so cold I am avoiding grocery shopping, but the supplies are running lower.

It's a surprise! I don't have a clue as my hubby called and said don't bother with dinner tonight...I've got it taken care of! Hmmm...wonder what it could be?

We had Salad and vegetable stew. DS wasn't full so then he had yogurt.

Last night we had perch, baked potato, and steamed broccoli.
