Last night we all had hot open face sandwiches (made with leftovers from the night before lol) with fries and tonight were having homemade chili. Dessert? That's easy.. mint cookie crunch drumsticks :p Just a few minutes ago I had a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato. :yum:

Well, that is what I did. I took that leftover steak (see my sirloin a couple of days ago...we had leftovers), and the leftover baked pototo from the doggy bag from the weekend. It is HUGE! I chopped up both of those, then took a 1/2 a bag of frozen chopped onions, and another 1/2 a bag of frozen chopped green pepper.

I threw it all in a big skillet with non-stick cooking spray, some red wine (old bottle, we never finish them, works great for cooking), and a littler Wocestershire sauce....fried it all up.

(I think some people call it hash, others skillet dinner, but it's quick and tastes good).

I've added egg to it before, but older daughter doesn't like eggs, and I am going soft on her, we all miss Daddy tonight (he'll be home tomorrow).

Yum. It was good.

I don't have the imagination for something like that faith!
sounds good!

We had baked pork loin chops...i seared them on the stove first with seasoning, then finished them in the oven. they were nice and moist.
then i made some rice with beef stock, and steamed peas.
Not bad.

well...i opted for chicken last night.
marinated it in a big baggie with balsalmic vinegar, olive oil, rosemary, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper. flash seared it in a pan and then finished baking it in the oven! yummo! it came out very moist!
we also had smashed potatoes and steamed green beans.

Tonight my DH is cooking!
shrimp scampi over rice and a big salad!! WOOHOOO!!!
