Making something different tonight.. Spanakopita with salad on the side...

We are still eating Christmas ham and salads.

last night we had baked chicken breast, rice w/chicken gravy, and broccoli.

right now i'm having coffee and raisin toast.

I just got done eating strawberry banana pancakes, and tonight we are having chicken and bacon with green beans.. then something else.. I haven't decided yet..

tonight is tilopia (white fish) with rosemary & oranges, baked potatoes, green beans.

Coffee for lunch. Gotta get through this day.

Had yogurt and granola, coffee and a vitamin for breakfast. I am planning on eggs and toast for lunch.

No idea on supper yet. I'll let you know.

last night's dinner: DH made a beef stew to die for! and homemade biscuts to go with! yummo!

Tonight he's making his famous homemade mac and cheese! woooohoooo! I love it when DH has the day off!

I am thinking it might be a good night for spaghetti since I can't think of anything else.

last night's dinner: baked chicken, baked potatoes, steamed peas. BORING!!

the kids didn't eat much because of their illness.
In fact, Jake hasn't eaten much of anything since 1/1/07!!

Actually that sounds good to me!

I'm thawing out left over egg bake to pop into the oven during the Girl Scout troop meeting. I'll serve it with salad greens and oranges.

Egg bake? Is that the same thing as a quiche?


Tonight is sausages, mashed potato and pumpkin, and carrot and peas (yeah pretty boring too, but that's all I feel like doing lol)

tonight is boring again...baked pork loin with honey vinegar marinade, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed carrots.

who knows what the boys will eat!

That is SO not boring.

And egg bake is much like quiche, but you don't pour it into a crust...straight into a pan with sides (like a lasagna pan). It usually includes flour or pieces of bread in the egg mixture, milk, cheese, and various other ingredients (like vegetables, meats, herbs, etc). And you take it out in squares...again like lasagna.

It was good as a leftover (easy to reheat).

Ah that egg bake sounds very much like what I do and call them mini quiche, except I make the mix up and stick them into muffin tins. My 2 yo loves them, shame about dh and 6 yo. Why can't I find a meal that EVERYONE enjoys.

Egg on toast for lunch. Pizza/family night to night. We're watching episodes of the 1st season of Seventh Heaven on Friday nights.

Last night, we went to a friend's house. He cooked us venicin steaks!!
Yummo! (the boys had happy meals! )

for desert, we had this decadent chocolate mouse cake!
