that isn't a commandmentDid you not hear that Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man?
But it means that the Sabbath is for all as long as there is a man on earth!that isn't a commandment
doesn't matter. I could say that beef was made for man but man wasn't made for beef and it wouldn't be a command to either eat or not eat beef. But it means that the Sabbath is for all as long as there is a man on earth!
No because of context. But it means that the Sabbath is for all as long as there is a man on earth!
This is pure mythology, without a shred of Biblical support. All you're doing is repeating your misuse of Mark 2:27, ignoring verse 28, and basing your argument on the thesis that Jesus is violating the Law defining the jurisdiction of the Sabbath. You have had this explained to you many times, only to return to mythology. But it means that the Sabbath is for all as long as there is a man on earth!
So the word s of Jesus has no meaning to us? For it is not your words but God's.doesn't matter. I could say that beef was made for man but man wasn't made for beef and it wouldn't be a command to either eat or not eat beef.
The Law specifies the children of Israel. No one else. That doesn't include God's adopted possession.According to scripture Man does not mean Israel!!!!!
False. The Sabbath is periodic in nature, not permanent, and originates with the manna experience.According to scripture The Sabbath was blessed and sanctified from creation!
Non sequitur. The above is complete speculation in violent contradiction to the Word of God.Are you going to tell us that Adam never worshiped His God? What day would he worship? What about the day God blessed and sanctified? Or maybe Adam waited until the next day after the Sabbath. Here he is on the first full day of his life (the Sabbath) and instead of glorying in His God That gave him life and a wife the evening before,he just decides to hold back his excitement until the first day of the following week. Or maybe he did not bother at all to give praise and thanks to his wonderful Creator.
Why don't you trust what Jesus actually said? It is your action that deletes half of what Jesus said in order to promote mythology. So the word s of Jesus has no meaning to us? For it is not your words but God's.
So you agree that scripture is useless as proof the Sabbath is commanded. But it means that the Sabbath is for all as long as there is a man on earth!
Do you take all of Jesus words as commandments? I don't... especially words of his that don't command us to do anything. So the word s of Jesus has no meaning to us? For it is not your words but God's.
Jesus commanded the ten commandments so we can see that you do follow all that Jesus said.Do you take all of Jesus words as commandments? I don't... especially words of his that don't command us to do anything.
I'm sorry but I don't see that in the new testament.... I see 9 commandments listed.Jesus commanded the ten commandments so we can see that you do follow all that Jesus said.
Please submit proof.Jesus commanded the ten commandments so we can see that you do follow all that Jesus said.
Your point here is rather moot, since...Jesus commanded the ten commandments so we can see that you do follow all that Jesus said.
According to scripture Man does not mean Israel!!!!!

Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man! JESUS!! Mark 2:27. You think God made the Sabbath for Himself to rest? God needed to reflect on Himself more so than Adam needed to look to his creator in praise and worship? Why did God say to keep the Sabbath? Are we to disregard that which God made HOLY? Ex 20:No Elder........
According to the scriptures: The seventh day of creation was blessed and sanctified because God finished all His works in six days and then 'rested' (ceased) on the seventh.
So the seventh day was for the God who worked, not a sabbath made for man. Genesis 1 is all about God working. Who but Satan would want to claim rest on the seventh day of creation?
If man did not work the previous 6days, what works was Adam resting from? There are more questions than answers about the myth that man was given rest or rested with God in creation.
The Sabbath was not 'made' for man until God gave it with manna.(as Sophrosyne made clear to you)
The manna was put in the ark as a memorial to give the historic facts about manna and sabbath.
Why would God make sabbath an exclussive covenant between himself and Israel if it was instituted at creation????
Let God's word be the truth we believe Elder.
We see. It did not work on others and you think it will work on Cribstyl. Really?Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man! JESUS!! Mark 2:27. You think God made the Sabbath for Himself to rest? God needed to reflect on Himself more so than Adam needed to look to his creator in praise and worship? Why did God say to keep the Sabbath? Are we to disregard that which God made HOLY? Ex 20:
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
I'm still waiting for proof of a Sabbath command in the New Testament. We see. It did not work on others and you think it will work on Cribstyl. Really?
