The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1. Had a great 2nd day at work
2. Took my dog to the vet to recheck the lump in his leg and it was not any bigger and didn't have any more "bad" cells
3. Enjoyed talking to Kirk for 5 hours

1. Went to gym after work, read almost an entire chapter of textbook while on treadmill.
2. Had three guilt-free milky ways, and enjoyed them immensely!
3.Music at Lost Baggage was rocking, got my body down with the funky beats for several enjoyable hours.

2. Met with girlfriend to study/cafe-hop.
3. Came home to my housemate having cleaned the stove.
Didn't think it could get any better after he washed up last night!

3. Went shopping and bought sourdough, gormet meats/cheeses/salad and fresh fruits&veg.

I have 3 things already and its still morning.
1. I went to the gym after not really wanting to and I really enjoyed it.
2. Made an appointment at the dentist for my 5 year old after not wanting to.
3. Having my hair cut today at 4:30. Im having a bouncy short bob.
Today I said to myself that I needed to sort myself out and this is the first thread I found to do that.
Thankyou so much for this as I only told myself that if I started thinking positive instead of dwelling on the negative then half the battle has been won.

3. My dog was particularly affectionate yesterday. I am cherishing every moment I have with him since he is almost 14 and soon he has to have a lump removed from his leg. He is still very spunky, though.
