That is very nice to hear. Sometimes getting some extra days off are just plain nice.

I found out yesterday I am getting off at 1 pm on friday and don't have to be back to work until tuesday at 3 pm. Getting 3 full days off...well I could just do a happy dance. I get 1 day off one week, 2 days off following week, than reverts to 1 day off, etc...

My dog is sick. He and the neighbour's dogs have been dragging around these skinned pelts. No idea where they're coming from, but I'm betting he ate something awful. Sure hope it passes over quick.
That doesn't sound good.

((hugs)) hope he feels better soon. Keep an eye on him because he could have picked up some internal critters from those pelts.

He threw up a couple times already and has eaten and drank a little bit. Still a bit shaky when standing. Right now I'm reading about dog enemas. Maybe he needs one? :o
I'd call the vet on that one.

You can use Pepto Bismol on dogs...you probably knew that.

if he is a 50 pound plus, a whole tab is OK, go to half for 25ish, and little ones a quarter.

its just Bismuth, like activated carbon, works like a charm for their little tummies. They can get dehydrated fast, and their pancreas reacts, the pancreatic enzymes then shoot up off the charts literally higher than measurable, and the cycle feeds itself.

Try it please...I hate that doggies get sick and cant tell us. And I do love doggies....even your doggiesa and I dont even know em

Well, when we let him outside earlier the kids reported that he puked and took a big dump! Now when I went to check on him, he was up, wagging his tail, licking my hands like crazy and ready to go out. He looks MUCH more alert than he had all day. I'm relieved. Like they say, garbage in, garbage out. I think he got rid of alot of garbage! He's eating and drinking alot more now too. I also have this stuff called Ionite - an all natural mineral supplement that I put in his water.

Never knew about the Pepto, but I'll remember it for next time. :)

I did not know about the Pepto either, I will be getting some the next time I go to town. One of our dogs gets little tummy upsets so I will be giving that a try. Thanks for that tip cons.

Sometimes a big dump is all it takes.

I should've recorded his rehearsal on Saturday. He did super then! Meh, we live and learn. The other 2 did great. I think my 12 year old would make a great director one day. The other kids depended on him to know when to say their lines and when to sit or stand up! :D

The fact that he participated in the rehearsals - and did great! - is a blessing. I'm sure having to perform in front of an audience was overwhelming for him. Sounds like your 12 yr old is a take charge kinda guy! :D
