CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I find it aggravating that, on the mornings where I really need to eat breakfast, I am not the least bit interested in food. I am going to have to force myself to eat in order to try to avoid getting sick later. And I am willing to bet that even though I'll eat, my tummy will decide to growl during my interview anyway.

This has been a great vacation week with hubby home. The best thing we did was not tell family members about this week. His sister calls us for babysitting every single time when she hears we have time off. Not THIS time! I made sure of it. I don't care if it sounds selfish. Tired of being taxi driver or babysitter during OUR time together as a family. We're so relaxed this week.

Son has to take some medicine and we were warned that it will make his skin sensitive to the sun... he already burns soooo easily... so he will probably come home from school this week burnt (<<yes I am exaggerating...lol) even though it is 50 degrees, rainy, and cloudy... poor thing.

I bought a new plum colored eyeliner tonight. I've read that it is supposed to go well with green eyes - we shall see!
