  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A McGriddle is two pancakes with cheese, eggs and sausage (or bacon) in the middle. You eat it like a sandwich. They sounded so weird I went out and tried one and ended up liking it. I even make my own version at home!

Sounds gross. But we all have our own tastes. :) Gotta go easy on the sausage and bacon though. Not really good for you. I've lost 20 pounds in the past year. :D I'm still working on losing more. I've been bouncing around from 161 to 164 pounds. Can't seem to get it to go lower than that right now. :sigh:

I heard that. I've been doing real well these past few weeks cutting down on meat and junk foods. I have no scale in my house, or I'd know if I'd lost any weight yet!

I work long shifts on Saturdays and Sundays and I stopped taking anything besides fruit for the most part for snacks. That helps.

I've cut back on the amount of what I eat. I've also started drinking water with lemon when we eat out and I drink juice at home. I've stopped drinking sodas and tea. I should start exercising now but haven't gotten myself in there to start yet. :sorry:

That's a good start. I barely drink any soda to begin with. Try something like walking if you get a chance.

David, the German Shepherd, ruined our couch today. He dug holes in the yard last week, chewed through wires the week before, chewed the siding of the house before that...
All is well, the couch store is replacing the part under warranty, the wires were fixed and we just installed a dog house where he chewed the siding.

Why did my husband want a puppy again?!

Nope! Hubzy got me a large french vanilla cappuccino (approx. 500 cals in 500ml cup) and a Maple Pecan Danish (410 cals) I've got ALOT of working out and drinking water to do! :swoon:

PS: HOCKEY SUCKS!!! I know that sounds very un-Canadian of me, but I just can't sit and watch that sport. :yawn: Hubby can.

LOL I doubt this will be true for me. I will have my 5 month old on my hip while wearing said "little black dress"...but I would behave anyway. :holy:
