Feel better blythe ann! :prayer:

Thank you!

I don't know what it is this year. I'm in the best shape of my life and keep getting these nasty colds that slow me down! I guess maybe that's why I need them... so slow down.

Have a good foot rub :). Is your hubby doing that?

And, on a bright note for me, I LOVE tea with almond milk and now I have an excuse to drink it all day! And my husband, as always, is incredibly sweet.

Yes - the foot rub was a promise from hubby when I saw him on my lunch break. Bless him - he isnt feeling well, either...so it's really sweet that he is promising me a foot rub. I just may have to rub his back to show him my appreciation. :D

I have been looking for this thread.

Q. When is a phone not a phone?
A. When the battery runs out because you have been playing games on it all morning!!!

Just wanted to share that. :)

Aww... lucky you! I'm still in the dark ages and we just use and abuse this ol' desktop computer! :D

^^Yipes, all of those sound horrifying!

Went to see Charley Pride last night, with my daughter. At 25, she was by far the youngest member of the audience. But I had trained her well in what good music is. She had a good time.

LoveBirdsFlying - sounds too much like fun.

On an entirely different concert audience note, we're taking my 12 year old DD to see Taylor Swift this week. That'll be interesting. I'm looking forward to the concert itself. I think Taylor is an amazing songwriter and I've read does a great show (which more than compensates for her only adequate live singing). But I'm not so sure I'm looking forward to a screaming crowd of pre-teens and teenage girls, all loudly singing every song off key and squealing at any and all remarks Taylor makes. It has my 9 year old DS on the fence about if he is going to go or not.

Still, I expect I'll be on here Friday talking about how much fun it was!

I wanted to make sure you know I'm kidding and not serious. Though, I am glad you didn't get sick!

It was obvious you were kidding, made me laugh when I read it. Though you were right at the same time. How'd that happen?

My daughter has thick, slightly wavy hair and just washes it and pulls it back into a ponytail. Simply lets it grow...one length. She was 15 the first time she had it professionally cut and that was simply to have it cut properly for locks of love... it got cut to her shoulders and still one length. I usually just trim the ends. Well she went and got a somewhat styled haircut this past weekend... something she has been afraid to do because what if she does not like it. She got it cut to her shoulder blades at the longest and the shortest is slightly below her chin...with long layers in between. It lays so nice without having to do anything and still long enough for her ponytail when she wants..lol. And she really likes it...woohoo.
