OK, well today we got our first snow storm. That in itself just makes it a very long day.

I have not been to my dentist in about three years... lack of insurance. But I have insurance now.. woohoo.. as of about a month ago. Now I have two teeth that have been really hurting the last two days... yes I am a tad bit babyish when it comes to tooth pain. My dentist is not in my insurance network, so I have to go to a different dentist.. and I have an irrational fear of dentists Ok, I am done whinning now

Apparently there's yet ANOTHER snow day for all schools tomorrow! 3rd day! I sure hope the parents are doing school work with their kids at home!

These old lady slacks are driving me crazy! Pants that go above the belly button are NOT comfortable. I don't care if I'm getting old, I fit into the slacks/jeans that are more comfortable. What's the problem with that?

Had to turn off water pump for today til hubby can fix the hot water hose for the bathroom sink. It let go again. Did the same thing last week. It MUST be fixed....TODAY! Floors are getting sooo water-logged.

Call your dentist and ask him which doctor he would recommend that is in your network (tell him the choices).

Thanks. I have two dentists in my area in my network. One is not taking new patients, The other one is taking new customers but has to follow procedure of new patient, which means first visit is an exam and cleaning, then will reschedule for any repairs. They can't get my first visit in until January 6th. So my husband said to call my original dentist and we will pay.. he can't get me in until January 4th.

So the whole one side hurts terribly so my friend got ahold of her dentist and I have an appointment this coming monday, at least for xrays. And they called in an antibiotic because with that pain, it means it is absassed (sp?) and the infection has to clear first before anything else can be done.

So that is where I am at with this. And in my last post I said I was done whinning...lol.

I'm totally going to fail at weight loss this holiday season.

What is that? I only know of them term used in a not so nice way.

I told my husband a few weeks ago that I was going to start watching what I eat, try to lose a bit of weight. He said to not even try over the holidays... it would only make me feel bad when I am sitting there eating all the goodies.

I had pain like that once and thought it was a tooth. It turned out to be a horrible sinus infection.

I'm praying that you get the pain dealt with quickly. I know what a miserable feeling that is.

I had a friend who had a bad tooth and had to wait to see the dentist and she used a warm saltwater rinse to help with the pain. She said it worked really well.
