CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My bloodwork came back all within range yesterday! Today I am doing the happy dance!
THAT is GREAT!!!
My daughter has an appointment with her endocrinologist today and for some reason I'M the one that's nervous this time around! Last appointment (in August) she was "close, but not close enough to stop her pill". Dang! So, today we're hoping that she's in the normal range.
It would be the BEST Christmas present!

That blasted thyroid really plays havoc on a persons body doesn't it?

I need to go get my thyroid levels checked. I stopped taking my meds b/c I couldn't afford the dr appt to get re-checked to get a new Rx and haven't been back yet. That was about 6 months ago.

Well, appointment wasn't as well as I expected. 
But, the dr says daughter is doing very well, her numbers are very slowly going into normal range and she's happy with her progress. I guess it's better to go slow than too fast, right? We go back in March. That will be one year since diagnosis....

Well, appointment wasn't as well as I expected.
