A dog came out of an alley and followed me through town on my walk this morning ... when he crossed the highway with me i decided to call the vet, then the police. No collar/tags, kind of scruffy but really friendly. I feel bad if I had someone's dog taken away, but I would rather they pay the no tag fine and get their dog back than have a dead one along the highway .

Still sad, though. Hugged all three of mine when I got home.

It's been a rainy and icky day today. Plus I'm not feeling well thanks to my husband for passing it to me.

I have taken hubby some flowers, a balloon, and 2 magazines since yesterday, but he is still bummed (he's on a liquid diet, poor guy ). I need to think of something to do/take to cheer him up.

hmmm...good idea! My oldest was asking to go visit him in the hospital, so I told him I might take him tonight. He could bring his Spongebob joke book.

Egg is a great conditioner, cleans the scalp right up & makes hair ultra soft.

My autistic 14 year old decided today would be a good day to try to give himself a shave. He managed....half an eyebrow.

me: I was praying this morning for a peaceful day, with no bombs or more heartache or explosions or sorrow. Then I realized very quickly that I should be praying that for the people who live in war zones, declared and undeclared, and I was just thankful for my personal roller coaster and would ask God for help not to over-dramatize.
so.... wheeeeee for me and peace for all those many who really need it.
