what part of the idea of karma is not included in the spirit of wisdom?
What goes around does come around, eventually, if not in this world then the next. However, evil men live and are happy, they dont seem to have a care in the world, while the righteous suffer. Job and David both noted this, and even Solomon i think. The righteous are sheep to slaughter in this world, while rich men fatten their own hearts for the day of slaughter. Its like the Lord said in these scriptures, i suppose-
Luke 6:20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor,
For yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now,
For you shall laugh.
4 “But woe to you who are rich,
For you have received your consolation.
25 Woe to you who are full,
For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now,
For you shall mourn and weep.
Matt 18:1-11 (YLT)
At that hour came the disciples near to Jesus, saying, `Who, now, is greater in the reign of the heavens?' And Jesus having called near a child, did set him in the midst of them, and said, `Verily I say to you, if ye may not be turned and become as the children, ye may not enter into the reign of the heavens; whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the reign of the heavens. `And he who may receive one such child in my name, doth receive me, and whoever may cause to stumble one of those little ones who are believing in me, it is better for him that a weighty millstone may be hanged upon his neck, and he may be sunk in the depth of the sea. `Woe to the world from the stumbling-blocks! for there is a necessity for the stumbling-blocks to come, but woe to that man through whom the stumbling-block doth come! `And if thy hand or thy foot doth cause thee to stumble, cut them off and cast from thee; it is good for thee to enter into the life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast to the fire the age-during. `And if thine eye doth cause thee to stumble, pluck it out and cast from thee; it is good for thee one-eyed to enter into the life, rather than having two eyes to be cast to the gehenna of the fire. `Beware! --ye may not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you, that their messengers in the heavens do always behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens, for the Son of Man did come to save the lost.
so from what the Lord teaches me I see that his mercy is so much greater than mans ideas of justice and karma. I seek the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven and flesh and blood does not inherit it. that which is the flesh is flesh and that which is spirit is spirit.
so we can either pick heaven or the earth. life with or without God. life close to or far away from God. that is natural karma. fate and freedom are the same thing. you reap what you sow and you are what you eat. whatever you bow your knee to is what is your master. those are deep and simple spiritual truths and no man by his knowledge or understanding will escape from the Lords eyes.
Matt 5:21-26 (YLT)
`Ye heard that it was said to the ancients: Thou shalt not kill, and whoever may kill shall be in danger of the judgment; but I--I say to you, that every one who is angry at his brother without cause, shall be in danger of the judgment, and whoever may say to his brother, Empty fellow! shall be in danger of the sanhedrim, and whoever may say, Rebel! shall be in danger of the gehenna of the fire. `If, therefore, thou mayest bring thy gift to the altar, and there mayest remember that thy brother hath anything against thee, leave there thy gift before the altar, and go--first be reconciled to thy brother, and then having come bring thy gift. `Be agreeing with thy opponent quickly, while thou art in the way with him, that the opponent may not deliver thee to the judge, and the judge may deliver thee to the officer, and to prison thou mayest be cast, verily I say to thee, thou mayest not come forth thence till that thou mayest pay the last farthing.
I never suggested Mans idea of Karma was correct.
I often think about this scripture and its meaning. I have two possible meanings for it, and they both seem to be about walking in humility. Im unsure if either is correct but i know that humility is always correct.
ehehe and I never suggested that men had any ideas worth listening to other than the ones the Lord blesses them with.
can you tell me some differences between the humility of the world and the humility of heaven?
The humility that God teaches us about is the act of humility before Him, in truth. It is seen on our knees in all our unworthiness, praising Him and saying that Jesus is Lord. This same humility will humble us in the presence of both God and other men.
I know nothing about the worlds idea of humility.
true.
how do you think Jesus Christ was humble to God his Father when he was not unworthy of him since God was well pleased with him?
did you know that sometimes when the saints tell us something that it is about our flesh and not our spirit? and so some teachings and rules are not applied our spiritual man but only to our carnal while some teachings are speaking about our spiritual man and not our fleshly man.
so it is a good thing to know the difference between good and evil is it not... since the Holy Spirit teaches us. and it is very important that our old man die more and more and that our new man grow stronger and stronger.

THe Lord was humble because He was born from above, not below, and thats the only answer i know.
As far as rules which teach good vs evil. This is a complex thing to nail down. Anything not of faith is sin. The law was taken away, yet we are still given rules. ITs very complex and i have yet to find a person who fully understands it all, in all its complexity. I think simplicity is the bridge between contradiction and any measure of fullness we may hope to obtain in this world. What is our purpose? How do we serve the Lord? It seems by humility, meekness and love/charity. And these things, in my opinion, are manifested in simplicity
karma is a kind of mechanical/perfunctory law as opposed to the law of the true God, that is shown in the biblical scriptures, which is the law of the absolute love, because karma does not ever take good care of all human and other ensouled beings, but tries to make all of them be passed through millions of vain, ruinous and painful rebirths as well as billions of afflictions, for it is not alone, but is a whole/working together with many other false doctrines such as those of: the three gunas, samsara, yugas, kalpas, etc., while the true God is the Good Heavenly Father of all people/souls Who always tries to provide each of them with abundant and everlasting life in the long(est) run, that is why it is written:
Revelation 13:9-10 "If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."
because the law of karma tries to doom all souls to suffer as long/many times as possible within each eternity, while the law of the true God tries to reduce/shorten their afflictions to the maximum for each eternity
Blessings
Gods spirit is fullness. being in Christ is fullness. what greater reward is there than to be loved by God and to love God? to be truly spiritually sane? true simplicity, true humility... what further rewards could we possibly hope for but to only be pure and innocent before the Lord with no spot or wrinkle? to endure the darkness of this present age for Christ sake and to be a light of the world for Gods own love and mercys sake? God has already promised us all things and the fullness of life and himself and to make each of us his holy temple...
we truly have the very best because we seek after God. and certainly God seeks after us more than we seek after him. the only thing left to happen is all our evils fade completely away and every tear to be wiped away from us. for God to love us and for us to love God is the fullness and completion of reality.
goodnight![]()
the wrong/false beliefs/persuasion in the faith, for example the doctrine of karma is devilish, but there were even sects ostensibly professing Christ that included it in their creed - Galatians 5 is about the misbelief/heresy considered/represented as unclean leaven
Blessings
and where does the thought come from?!, isn't the spiritual the source of the thought?!

......but tries to make all of them be passed through millions of vain, ruinous and painful rebirths as well as billions of afflictions,......
.......because the law of karma tries to doom all souls to suffer as long/many times as possible within each eternity, while the law of the true God tries to reduce/shorten their afflictions to the maximum for each eternity......
Not for David, that day on the roof, or for Lot when he chose the left hand, or for those Paul was talking to who were persuaded by a truth/thought/seed (of a serpent) outside of themselves.
how is it possible that en electric lamp light without electricity?!, so there can be no thought without the spiritual, even because the thoughts are a creation of the spiritual
