In the son, 'Light", comes another word, Good. The question being is this another son from God or the author of Genesis ? A vast thought this. Reminder: We, put the default opposite of good to darkness wherein God/bible is silent in Genesis.

So a friend comes to town and we talk of how we image God to fit our perception.Then we discuss religion and being called religious . My view differs from his as I see it as a member of a church. He says semantics.

Later, as one meditated over this, the putting the two subjects together is of the same ether. We seek a church that molds to our perception of God (Mostly , not all, such as children go where the parent goes etc...).

... If one finds peace , joy and love in doing good and this naturally produces desire to do good in His names sake. This is a semantic to be labeled religious (No church involved) .

Right now I see this semantic as an easy describer of a stranger in the realm of labels but maybe my mind needs a different picture as it is stuck in religious equals religion of one brand or another?

Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? corporately "in" a church (physical) (member of)
or
individually "as" a church (spiritually) (son of)

My POV:
worldly religion is: "in" a church (physical building {build by man}) of man's process of salvation through man's works of the law by man

Where as:
Truth/true religion is: "as" a church (a spiritual building of {build by God}) of the Father's process of salvation through Christ's works of grace in us (us = His church) in/by/through His Spirit

So that no man can boast because He is "all the same truth", it's all Him, we are HIS workmanship, the church (body) He is "in the process" of building

atheists measure ( themselves ) by what they see, which be an image/measurement of the truth, and therefore they be bound by the very same law as those who hold to a religion ...

to not eat of a tree bearing two fruit is to not reason between two opposites ... our own reasoning comes out of a comparison between truth and lie and then hangs on this tree caught between the two ( heaven and earth ) a wandering in wilderness of the mind ( confusion of face )

we must bring every thought into subjection/obedience of the singular truth that we are the son of GOD our Father and that we do nothing of ourselves but walk out a finished work, our steps being ordered from the foundation and therefor prophetic

we can not walk with GOD without agreeing with GOD and we can not agree with GOD without becoming GOD ...

There are so many things that cannot be comprehended by a mind that is unable or unwilling to look into the depths of itself, that in the inaction of not searching the depths of oneself, the self keeps itself blind to who self is. And this concept is nothing but confusion to another if it has not been revealed to self by Self.

Which is just another way of saying, "The Spirit itself (Self) beareth witness with our spirit (self), that we are the children of God (Romans 8:16).

My mind searches out all things. This was not always so. Self is a name for the enemy of our souls, for he is only about himself. The children Of God are about others, and not about self, as was shown them up upon that cross.
